Charlie Bigham's are lovely, but they need to be cooked in the oven. CB is more expensive, but nowhere near the price of a takeaway.

Elderflower14 · 03/12/2024 17:30

Co Op Chicken Tikka Masala... Yum yum!! 💕

muddyford · 03/12/2024 17:37

Lidl lamb pasanda is delicious.

PurpleKittyKnitting · 03/12/2024 17:40

We love Iceland ones....I always have chicken balti.

BERB24 · 03/12/2024 17:50

I normally go for M&S or Charlie B’s but I was in our local ASDA recently and they had a new more premium range called Bom something or other and was really impressed with the variety, price and taste!

hideawayforever · 03/12/2024 17:53

I love the M&S Prawn makhani

eRobin · 03/12/2024 17:54

I prefer traditional foods like fish pie rather than curries which trigger my IBS

BoreOfWhabylon · 03/12/2024 17:54

Morrison's lamb rogan josh. Lots of meaty chunks.

zebranotzeebra · 03/12/2024 17:56

Not exactly a supermarket curry as in not a ready meal but the spice tailor kits are amazing. You get the spices and sauce and just add the meat/veg and sides of your choice.

IntelligentInputDarling · 03/12/2024 17:57

Tesco Finest Beef Stroganoff 👌
If you have COOK in your area, their meals are really good.

Renthorrorshow · 03/12/2024 17:58

The M&S Thai Favourites takeaway box is lovely (I'd particularly recommend the chicken penang curry if you only want a single curry!)

SingingSands · 03/12/2024 18:01

M&S used to do a really basic chicken curry - not in the Special range or anything, not tikka, just "chicken curry" and it was bloody delish!

TangerinePlate · 03/12/2024 18:01

Available in supermarkets P K foods.Haven’t seen any of their curries but their pakora selection is amazing.

Fair enough. I probably would too.

Aldi do some good ones, but the best is not a curry, but a chilli. Better than homemade!

Friendofdennis · 03/12/2024 18:08

Aldi butter chicken ( the luxury range ) is beautiful and enough for 2 portions

I think they do chicken tikka in the same range

Zippidydoodah · 03/12/2024 18:11

I love the vegetable masala from M&S but I’m sad to say that I think they’ve stopped making it! 😢 Also- M&S sag aloo is 😋

There is a vegetable one in Morrisons which is also good. I tend not to trust the chicken in ready meals so only get veggie ones!

AlexanderArnold · 03/12/2024 18:17

Charlie bighams far and away the best imo. For microwave, waitrose chicken biriani and keralan chicken top my list, and the m and s prawn one others mentioned

shivbo2014 · 03/12/2024 18:22

Read the title and came on to say the same as you OP

M&S butter chicken is superb.

TryingDry · 03/12/2024 18:25

M&S ultimate chicken tikka masala 👌

Blabla81 · 03/12/2024 18:29

Morrisons butter chicken is very nice.

amoreoamicizia · 03/12/2024 18:29

Sainsbury's paneer jalfrezi but it comes as a "meal for own" with rice instead of being just the dish which I would prefer. Morrison's red onion bhajis from their counter with Gita's mango and chilli chutney. Waitrose did a lovely aubergine curry but I've not seen it months (had to add my own chilli but then I do for most).
