Most useful thing you've bought under £30

We do a game at Christmas where instead of presents, we do useful gifts in bags for people to win. Things like mango slicers, those cards that double up as ice scrapers, that sort of thing.

Have you bought anything surprisingly useful that you use more than you thought you would that cost under £30 please? I really need some ideas this year!

I detest those little sachets of vinegar and ketchup you get in some pubs and cafes as I always struggle to open them, so special thanks to whoever mentioned the Swiss Army Card, that's my Christmas present to myself sorted.

This folding laundry basket. I love that I can slip it in the gap between the fridge and cabinet to store it.

I bought one of these after seeing it late at night. I watched how many different things it could cook in the microwave, not just toasties. After having it for a week I bought another one. It cooks bacon, sausages, fish fingers, salmon, veg - like asparagus and broccoli, in about 3 to 4 minutes in the microwave. I thought it was just a gimmicky thing that would be discarded after a couple of days, but I love it. £25 for one, or two for £45.

Bottle for cooking oil- it is one of the ones that you can pour and/or spray. A bottle of Olive Oil lasts me forever now, and it's better than fry-light etc.

I looked on Amazon for the micro munchy and there are so many different prices.
Cheaper than the link above.
But I couldn't find any reviews.

I have this, it’s excellent! I don’t miss my old round glass one at all!

A wheat bag, can be heated up in the microwave. Much easier than a hot water bottle
