My son was in Vancouver for a year and this time last year there was really heavy snow..he hadxa snow day off from the office.
It really is a beautiful city..I absolutely loved it there. X

Weather app has been forecasting between 153-280mm of snow in 24 hours with 230mm being the most often quoted depth! That’s quite a lot.

God I hope it's not going to snow in the south east. My commute is 30 miles at 5am cross country and I deffo don't want to do that in snow.

Snowing in my part of Lancashire, and it’s setting now. I’ve got a really important day at work tomorrow and I hate driving in snow. It takes 45/50 minutes anyway so dreading the morning. I absolutely hate snow!

You're way outside the warning area (doesn't go further south than Birmingham / Peterborough) and I'd be surprised if there was any snow in the forecast for the SE at all

It’s such a rare event here, usually only happens when the rest of the country is completely white.

Birmingham 2002ish.
Got cold, snow warnings etc, council sent the gritters out at 10am.
Rained all afternoon and washed the grit away, then got freezing at about 4pm and gridlocked the city.
People were sleeping in their offices and abandoning cars, it was like some third world country. Or Birmingham normally.

And the last two Januaries we had a severe snow storm. I was caught for over 4 hours trying to get home on a usual 30 minute drive.
