Bloody rain here in Essex. I love the snow so, so much, but we only ever seem to get rain. Come on Yorkshire, don't hog it.

Whereabouts in West Yorkshire is there snow? I was planning to go to Huddersfield at the weekend.

I'm just north of Sheffield, which is forecast to be the worst hit.

I was due to go into the office tomorrow, but my line manager told me to WFH.
DD gets a train to work, so I hope they are running. She does an essential job and can't WFH.

Snowing here in Leeds, bloody freezing cos my bastard wireless thermostat isn't connecting to the boiler!!! Thankfully BG engineer is coming tomorrow! Sat in my big fleecy hoodie, watching the flakes fall!

Hate snow, hate the cold, hate the drizzly, grey weather we get in the South West while you're all taking pretty snow pics for instagram. Hate driving in the snow, and putting eleven hundred layers on the dc to head out the door. Bah humbug!

Woodhead Pass is closed between the Flouch and the road to Holmfirth. Surprisingly, Snake Pass is still open.

Looks very pretty here at the moment and I'm feeling glad I'm not back in work until Friday so I won't have to drive in it. Although I think it's due to snow until then.

The kids will be pleased when they wake up tomorrow and their head teacher lives in the village so hopefully school is still open.

There's a bit in my part of Lancashire (near Preston, not on the hills), but I don't think it's quite cold enough to settle.

This morning I brought in my last sprig of sweet peas - a faint lingering smell of summer, now out of reach.

Family stuck on M6. It's snow all the way now to home. I shan't sleep until they're safely back.

Definitely putting an extra blanket on the bed tonight, might even get a hot water bottle out to warm up whilst I'm relaxing on the sofa. Going to sneak into the kids bedrooms and give them extra blankets. Apparently it's -2°c but feels like -6°c.

I want snow!!! Miss it so much, miss my childhood... Waking up, seeing everything covered in beautiful white shroud, suddenly completely alien and pretty. Evenings walking down the street, snow sparkling in the street lights, cold crips air, and anticipation of Christmas and New Year celebrations! Having to brush the snow off before getting inside the school... Snowy mess on roads... Massive icicles on roofs... Sledging on the hill in the local park after dark...I still cant accept Christmas without ice and snow (( its not the same...

I want snow, please!!!
