Tax changes where you go from zero to xx% should be bought in gradually and/or with exemptions, as people make plans based on the previous policy.
Plus the change doesn't stop Dyson from buying up woodland and farmland, he still still get a 20% break.
No tax change should make anyone lose their business, not 1 farm should be faced with this choice.
To me, this smacks of the WFA debacle, its embarrassing hearing minister after minister trying to defend taking money of a pensioner whose income is a few pounds over the PC limit.
I think Labour have done some great things since July but these two need rethinking.
