Only guessing so might be wrong but think @BIossomtoes was referring to the first
4 or 5 words of the last sentence

Well she's snippy (ie rude) , she's black and she's a woman and there are some people who will be put off by that due to their own prejudice.

You are right. I don’t like cats.

Cats kill birds and shit in people’s gardens.

Mine doesn’t. She’s indoor and only goes out into a pen.
Also foxes kill stuff and shit everywhere too. And rats.

Edited

Mine are also indoor cats - they have a very large catio and that's it, because one of them has wobbly cat syndrome and another is from Egypt and doesn't have the gorm to deal with UK traffic.

And speaking from experience - cat poo smells bad, but it isn't a patch on fox poo.

I think the reason the Tories are looking towards Reform is they believe it is/ will be a lot less work than having to appeal to the LibDem/centrist voter. Hard work being something someone else does, if you are a committed Tory.

It's quite ironic that the reason the Tories are where they are is because they tried to take on the Reform/Farage contingent before* and had they arses whopped then. This appears to be them coming back to be taunted a second time. No wonder Farage seems happy.

*And failed, in case anyone wants to know what happened 😀

It's Brexit isn't it. They won't appeal to L/Ds until they offer a return to the single market and to do that they'd lose the ERGers to Reform and they'd have to drop a bit of the culture wars.

Starmer would do well to remember that too.

The single market wouldn't solve all our financial woes but it would certainly give us a better chance. Media owners would explode though. Urgh.

There is zero gorm in my Perdy’s possession either. She’s a rescue from a dodgy breeder and had only ever lived in cages until I got her. It’s taken over 3 years for her to be able to trust enough to (occasionally) sit half on and half off my lap.

"She’s a rescue from a dodgy breeder and had only ever lived in cages until I got her."

Oh my goodness, that is so awful.

RafaistheKingofClay · 03/11/2024 19:10

I see Kemi is starting as she means to go on and getting the public onside by claiming partygate was overblown. That always goes down well.

Efacsen · 03/11/2024 19:15

So so horrible for the 'covid bereaved families' they don't need all this dragged up again

DuncinToffee · 03/11/2024 19:16

The party of law and order does not like the rules they themselves imposed

They genuinely don’t understand how angry people were about it and don’t want them to excuse themselves.

They haven't learned a thing.🤦‍♀️

The denial and delusion in the Tory party and what's left of their supporters is🤯. Ah well, we get to enjoy more drama in their continuing saga of Self destruction.😁

ilovesooty · 03/11/2024 20:15

The fans of the sainted Kemi and her glass ceiling breaking achievement arent going to see that.

As I said on another thread she's as bad as Johnson in terms of her total inability to reflect and consider that other people might find some of her comments repellent. She proved that this morning.

The denial is strong and funny to watch.

The Tories keep blaming others, often over events many years ago BUT Labour must accept that are in power now and have no one to blame but themselves......

DuncinToffee · 04/11/2024 08:58

Poor James Dyson, he is quite upset with the IHT budget Confused

PandoraSox · 04/11/2024 09:03

Labour really needs to sort this out. I wish they would get rid of the cap altogether. It is inhumane.

He can Fuck Right Off.

It's not a popular narrative - and won't ever be accepted by St. Kemi. (despite her accepting it when "pressed" by LK, so here's the ground for another lie being prepared). But the reason we now have a Labour government is because in 2016 we voted for Brexit. A Brexit that James "offshore" Dyson championed from the rooftops.

If he's unhappy with a Labour government and it's decisions he can take it up with the cunts that backed Brexit for their personal gain knowing full well it would screw the average Briton.

Don't that have mirrors in Singapore ?

Notonthestairs · 04/11/2024 10:39

Yes, although I think the austerity narrative peddled by Osborne and Cameron had started to be challenged by 2015/16. They overreached. Osborne would never have been accepted as a PM so Johnson would have had his day eventually. He just opted for the quicker and more destructive course which has led us here.

Don't feel you have to hold back in expressing your feelings, Jane 🤣

Personally I would suggest that the austerity peddled by cunty Cameron and his chums fed into the feelings that eventually tipped the vote 52:48. But that is probably a little bit less obvious.

But the moment that result was announced, the UK was on course for whichever party was stupid enough to try and implement Brexit to destroy itself and take the country down with it. Because - and I will be amused to see how St. Kemi of Tufton spins this - you don't get a 179 majority in a fucking Christmas Cracker, do you ?

Hang on - did I just say 179 majority ? All those wailing and squealing really needs to remember that a 179 majority that isn't really interested in their "pain" could have delivered a fucktonne worse.
