The Kemi fans are ridiculous. Apparently the fact that she is black and female eclipses everything else about her, and the Tories are the greatest political party ever for having had black and female PMs/party leaders even if they have been utterly shit. Also transwomen are bad, and we shouldn't have maternity rights because transwomen might have them. WTF.

Yes. They're not overburdened with the 'critical thinking skills' that one Brexit fan used to shout about at every opportunity. Hopefully, they'll get bored soon. Like the rest of us.

It will be interesting to see who she chooses as her shadow cabinet. Andrew Griffith as shadow chancellor I have seen mentioned, he is not a fan of the minimum wage

The most interesting thing about Hester wasn't just his desire to see Abbott punished - it was that there was a second woman, a non politician, that he aimed similar vindictive anger against. As far as I recall she was simply a local competitor. But someone he wished dead. I just find that odd.

But I guess he'll splash the cash if he'll get what he wants in terms of tax cuts.

I would presume that anyone who wants to replace St. Kemi, when she's done will want to do so with a clean(ish) pair of hands.

However, the Tory party appear to have engineered a situation (and fans of history are welcome to correct me) unique in the history of politics where it looks impossible to keep your enemies closer. Certainly if I were a bookie, I would eliminate anyone who accepts a role in the shadow cabinet as a leadership contender.

Has Hunt done the same as Cleverly in ruling himself out? I missed that.
