Is this the most stunning man who ever lived?

I’ve just discovered an actor from the 1940s and 50s called Randolph Scott. He was super famous then - understandably - but seems to be much less well known now. Well suffice it to say my ‘Bobby socks’ are well and truly blown off! What do we all think?

Not my cup of tea but he looks wholesome. Defo good looking.

CollaterlieSistersSister · 09/10/2024 09:13

Not in my opinion, but ‘stunning’ is subjective innit.

His name just reminds me of the brilliant Blazing Saddles (“just give me 24 hours, you’d do it for Randolph Scott”).

Mind you, I rather like the young Bing Crosby, so
I may be an outlier.

Not for me I’m afraid, you mean this dude? With Carey grant?

Ewww really lol nah

This photo did it for me 🤣! Deffo got a thing for old fashioned ‘mens men’ as they called them. Funnily enough tho he was later rumoured to have been bi. Cary Grant and he had a Bromance. So quite ‘progress’ for his time I guess. I’m spending far too much time gazing at him on my phone now 🤣🤣🤣. Must get on!!

Ooh no. He reminds me of that smarmy James Hewitt.

ladymalfoy45 · 09/10/2024 09:18

James Spader in Stargate.

Reminds me a bit of Bob Odenkirk

Evan Peters. Face, body, personality, acting ability, everything. Wow.

He’s all yours OP, enjoy.

BettyBardMacDonald · 09/10/2024 09:19

You would love him in the 1940 comedy "My Favorite Wife" with Cary Grant.

DonaldJohnTrump · 09/10/2024 09:21

Nah, but you know who is? 😍

NorthernLiner · 09/10/2024 09:22

Of course not.

Paul Newman was.

MellowMallow · 09/10/2024 09:22

David Essex in the mid seventies. Alain Delaine was gorgeous in his youth too .

Its not his face. its his forearms. The most sexy part of most men's body in many ways but men seem completely oblivious to it.
Just the headshots were a bit meh, but the image of him with his sleeves rolled up made me see it.

PrueHal · 09/10/2024 09:24

Nope, sorry!

TeabySea · 09/10/2024 09:28

Not for me. However a young Clint Eastwood....

StMarieforme · 09/10/2024 09:28

@biscuitandcake glad I'm not the only person to appreciate a forearm! 😁

Boobygravy · 09/10/2024 09:29

My aunty loved Gregory Peck, she was born in 1920.

IhadFeralToddlers · 09/10/2024 09:29

He and Cary Grant were featured in some Hollywood article as bachelors who bought a home together. They were gay basically, until they weren't, because at that time Hollywood was a huge closet and intolerant of such things.

Dd loves good arms on men, Patrick Swayze being her best example.
I like intense eyes and a warm voice.
Think Brad Pitt meets Anthony Hopkins.
In fact most Welsh male actors voices do it for me.
