I’ve just discovered an actor from the 1940s and 50s called Randolph Scott. He was super famous then - understandably - but seems to be much less well known now. Well suffice it to say my ‘Bobby socks’ are well and truly blown off! What do we all think?

Up until the the 1930s men always used to wear vests under their shirts, however when Clarke Gable took off his shirt in a scene in 'Gone with the wind' to reveal a bare chest it killed the demand for vests overnight. Imagine being that influential....

My heart has always been a young Paul Newman's. Now he was a gift from god.

I never knew this guy’s name but I’ve definitely seen him in old movies before - possibly an Astaire and Rogers film? He’s good looking but Gregory Peck is more attractive- also agree with a PP about a young Bing Crosby 😍 There was a lad in my year at school who had that look about him and I whiled away many lessons gazing at him across the room 😂

He was married 5 times with his longest marriage only lasting four years, but he lived with Randolph Scott for 12 years….his daughter sued anyone who suggested her father was gay.
