I find it really difficult to have only a couple of custard creams. Especially with a cuppa. Bought a packet the other day & ate about 7! They’re not my favourite but they’re so moreish!

Those really thin, melt-in-the-mouth ginger ones from ikea.

Anna’s Swedish Ginger Thins?

Me too. They’re up there with Ginger Nuts.

CherryVanillaPie · 29/09/2024 01:39

Jaffa cakes. I find it hard not to eat the whole packet at once

Thevelvelletes · 29/09/2024 02:11

They are tiny now,I used to eat the orangey bit in the middle then nibble chocolate off then munch the sponge..a la 70s size Jaffa cake, same with clubs.

Duncan’s Coconut Shortbread - AMAZING
Bahlsen Butter Leaves
Custard creams - M&S or Sainsbury’s only
Sainsbury’s shortbread fingers
M&S chocolate or raspberry vanilla Viennese.

mjf981 · 29/09/2024 03:34

Timtams and chocolate hobnobs.

mjf981 · 29/09/2024 03:35

OMG what is a chocolate lesbian?!

Lui Petit Buerre

Those gold tins of M&S Belgian Chocolate biscuits that you get at Christmas are not safe in my presence. They're probably available all year round but I associate them with Christmas and avoid the biscuit aisle the rest of the year.

chickenpopps · 29/09/2024 05:20

Well all of them, but I've never opened a pack of Fox's Biscuits Viennese Milk Chocolate Dipped Fingers without finishing them in one sitting 😋

Xanadu58 · 29/09/2024 06:04

Fig rolls and jammie dodgers .

Sgtmajormummy · 29/09/2024 07:26

The Italian Panettone makers Le Tre Marie have come out with a line of biscuits called “just one more”.
If you insist…!

THESE chocolate ones have the same consistency as Biscoff and a fair amount of salt.

Fig rolls. Which is a really bad choice for this sort of thing!

UpTheMagicFarawayTree · 29/09/2024 07:58

Chocolate malted milks.

theriseandfallofFranklinSaint · 29/09/2024 08:07

Cow biscuits (malted milks)

Not even my favourite but dunked in tea, they go down so quickly!

Other than that, cheap biscuits - supermarket own-brand custard creams, nice biscuits, coconut rings, basically church hall biscuits 🍪

LovedFedAndNoonesDead · 29/09/2024 08:09

Le Petite Burre
Chocolate malted milks
Garibaldi

The only way to manage is not to buy them!

Spanglybangles · 29/09/2024 08:21

@Thevelvelletes i bought it in my local Tesco in the special offers section in early September and was on offer for about 3 weeks, they had it along with a Duncan’s salted caramel shortbread which was also rather good. I’d never seen either before and they have since disappeared from the store. However I have found it online. Be warned, it’s sooo moreish, we went through several boxes in those 3 weeks!!!

Jaffa cakes. It's the long slow ritual of deconstruction I enjoy. I wish I was that patient in other areas of my life🤣

Oh God, all of them!!

I have a huge problem with Oreos, chocolate hobnobs, Nice biscuits, M&S pistachio and almond cookies and M&S jaffa cakes.

I only buy biscuits I don't like to prevent me eating them all (digestives, ginger nuts, bourbons and custard creams - sorry OP!). Thankfully the kids and DP seem to manage to eat just one of two at a time - how????

Crunchymum · 29/09/2024 09:59

Forgot to add M&S Vienesse biscuits and M&S curls.

I clearly avoid the M&S biscuits aisle as I'd be bankrupt and even fatter than I already am!!
