I find it really difficult to have only a couple of custard creams. Especially with a cuppa. Bought a packet the other day & ate about 7! They’re not my favourite but they’re so moreish!

Shortbread, Abernethy butter biscuits or malted milk

NeedthatFridayfeeling · 28/09/2024 22:47

Lotus biscuits!

Rookie93 · 28/09/2024 22:51

Garabaldi are easily my downfall, can't eat just one or two, have to finish the packet if I start. Dipped in milk and then just snaffle the lot. Glad they've gone up so much I can't justify buying them but then worry they'll stop making them so have to buy at least two packets.

Cheddars.

I sometimes make my own biscuits, from parmesan, cheddar and ground almonds. Now they are very moreish!

Another request for the recipe @YessandNno !

I can't stop eating custard creams and malted milk biscuits. Especially if they're dipped in tea.

I came on to say Garibaldi! Cannot eat less than 3 or easily a whole "layer". It's something about the dried fruit .

ObieJoyful · 28/09/2024 23:02

Fig rolls are my favourite, but I could probably only eat 3 max.

Crisps on the other hand… 😋

Twototwo15 · 28/09/2024 23:03

Nice biscuits (those coconut flavoured ones actually called “Nice”)
and shortbread.

Aglassaday · 28/09/2024 23:03

Chocolate fingers but also here me out those m and s wafer curl things. They’re ridiculously moreish

Abernethy with a bit of cheese.

Glad I'm not the only one - I swear they are the most addictive biscuits

These are like crack to me. I can’t buy them as I know I won’t be able to stop myself from eating the whole lot.

Party Rings also.

Bumcake · 28/09/2024 23:07

I’m not too bad around biscuits but mini-rolls are another matter altogether.

NotMeNoNo · 28/09/2024 23:07

(RTFT now). Looks like the best biscuits are under rated , I'm now imagining a dream biscuit tin with Garibaldi, fig rolls, choco Leibnitz and shortbread. By the way Aldi now do own brand Garibaldi 😁

Bumcake · 28/09/2024 23:09

I’m astonished by the squashed-fly love. Horrible!

Borders dark chocolate raspberry or ginger. I have just eaten four!

I never tried Borders dark chocolate raspberry biscuits. I feel deprived.

Biscoff, Ginger Nuts and Lu Le Petit Beurre.

Lu Le Petit Beurre are like actual fucking crack.

helloyoumums · 28/09/2024 22:26

Chocolate digestives, chocolate hobnobs, Oreos, chocolate lesbians - seeing a potential chocolate theme emerging 😬

Chocolate lesbians??? 😀

Lemon Puffs are my Achilles heel.

Suz8 · 28/09/2024 23:22

Jaffa Cakes have to be the worst for scoffing too many in one go surely?

Anything thst melts in a cuppa too like Rich Tea.

I disagree about ginger nuts as they're too spicy!

Suz8 · 28/09/2024 23:23

How could I forget fig rolls! A retro classic! Hard hat on for this choice. 😂

marmaladeandpeanutbutter · 28/09/2024 23:45

Dark chocolate Leibniz.

HoppityBun · 28/09/2024 23:52

Biscoff. But plain digestive biscuits are, in fact, food.

Youhaveyourhandsfull · 28/09/2024 23:54

Unfortunately most biscuits. A few years ago I wanted to do a January detox and do no alcohol and no sugar. I managed the booze fine (but contrary to many reports, felt no different, didn't lose any weight, or have the urge to go for any longer than the month). But I caved with sugar after 3 days. And that was some plain digestives, but it absolutely has to be McVities, with a cup of tea.
Others I love, rich tea fingers (not the round ones as much, unlike digestives I am brand agnostic on these) bourbons, lotus biscuits, dark chocolate digestives, crunch creams, double stuff Oreos. Shortbread as well but that's a bit rich to eat loads of.

Blueuggboots · 29/09/2024 00:28

When u was a kid, my mum used to have hide Cheddars. Not the mini ones, the big standard utterly awesome and delicious ones because I'd eat them all!

Blueuggboots · 29/09/2024 00:28
