Oasis tickets

So I didn't make the ballot so missed out on the pre sale and I'm angered that viagogo have purchased a load of pre sale tickets and are selling them for 600 quid each! It's a dream to see oasis in Manchester (my home town) and its looking very unlikely unless some miracle happens in the queue for general sale tomorrow... just ranting but please keep your fingers crossed for me

You will almost certainly be able to get tickets cheaper than that nearer the time. There are always people who cannot go for one reason or another, who need to sell their ticket. Look on e-bay.

My son and two friends went to see Noel Gallagher at Warwick Castle last month, they had a great time, said he was marvellou. I don't know if he will be going to see Oasis next year, he will be at home during their tour so he might. Oasis was very much part of his youth.

You haven't been able to sell concert tickets on Ebay for years now.

3rd August Wembley now saying 'inventory is low' for certain ticket types. I'm still 155,000 in the queue so no chance but will keep on.

I was very lucky to get 4 tickets for Wembley on 3rd August. I bought them with no knowledge of the seating plan. Checked on viagogo, and they're good seats directly opposite stage. There's tickets in my section for sale for £835 each. Shouldn't be allowed to do this. Ticket prices should be capped even on third party.

Yeah the Friday night was just pre show party tickets with seats for £500 each. I didn't buy them.

I’ve given up.
been in the queue since 9.00 and barely moved.
can’t afford more than £150 a ticket and they’d all be gone no doubt.

@Popcorntv @RedToothBrush I think Ticketmaster and Livenation are the same company, so when I tried it just redirected me back to the same queue to join the queue, though I didn't lose my place.

A couple I know had four tickets in their basket and got thrown out at the purchase bit - they are devastated, they are huge fans

Well that's a bit mad, been number hundreds of thousands for ages, read on Nextdoor.com to just log into the live nation site and just bought 4 seated for Wembley 30th July!! Got straight in!!

DSs are going to be delighted (it will be an 18th present for Ds2). Don't know whether to keep it a surprise or tell him now and save him the time and hits of the refresh button!

I was trying from just before 9am, finally was added to the ticket master queue at about 9.45am with over 175'000 in front of me in queue, am still in queue now at 137913. It's shit.

They are the same company. It redirects to Ticketmaster and the ticket pages. But you can't even get onto Ticketmaster ATM. You are queuing to queue. You can bypass the queue to queue by going through livenation. It's ridiculous.

Its happened to a friend of mine too. Tried several different credit cards. All rejected. He hasn't a credit issue.

If you’re on the queue for a queue page (ie without a number) it will put you in a queue with a number - albeit a big one!! But yes, if you’ve got a number it won’t move you up unfortunately

I have friends in France who got the presale code and obtained tickets in the UK. Some of them were massive Oasis fans back in the early days, and they came over from France to try and see Noel and Liam at their home address. They won't in, but their mum was. She invited them in, made them a cup of tea and started sharing photos and stories about her kids.

Yay!! Happy for you :) I joined the initial queue at 8:30am to get onto the Ticketmaster site and am currently 178,436th in the queue for Saturday night in Cardiff. I am somewhat losing optimism but your post did give me a momentary boost, so thank you 🤣🤣
