@Blossomtoes it really is. So many people working overtime on there. I particularly love the post that claims that Labour were in charge in the 80s.

I know. I did wonder for a second or two if it was satire.

Mr Faarage is going to boycott the BBC due to the 'biased audience' at recent Question Time which did not receive him well. Massive charisma fail Nige, you're just nor used to reality biting you on the bum are you? He won't be on permanent standby polluting the BBC news and opinion slots then. Result! Long may it last.

I promise I didn't post that, but you can probably work out what I did post.

That assumes the BBC won't back down - I hope it doesn't but I don't have a great deal of faith that they won't crumble.

Fascinating that Farage was even invited given the prediction of so few seats. Is Davey on?

newnamethanks · 29/06/2024 22:08

Farage will probably slime his way on to Kuensberg tomorrow to announce, at length, that he's boycotting the beeb and all its works. Poor thing. He's a very misunderstood man😁

Uugh. Whilst I will generallly be watching the Channel 4 election coverage with a smattering of Sky, if everything goes well I will definitely tune in to the Beeb to see how Laura K holding up face like a smacked arse

TheInvisibleMann · 29/06/2024 22:20

I can't decide which channel to watch. In 2019 both DC were the in audience for the C4 show so we did watch a bit of that. We usually watch BBC but I can't stand Laura K, although the schadenfreude will defo be worth it to see he squirm her way through the results. I do like John Curtice's analysis so might have to flick between the BBC and C4 as think they have the wonderful Hannah Fry joining them for the number crunching.

BIossomtoes · 29/06/2024 22:22

C4 and the Beeb is the way I’m going.

newnamethanks · 29/06/2024 22:29

I have found myself with 2 tv's by mistake so I may put both on, bbc and C4. Although I'll probably fall asleep anyway.

HauntedPollingBooth · 29/06/2024 21:47

Also has anyone looked at the 'Labour Can't Win' thread? Batshit.

Was just coming on to say the same thing. The amount of totally wrong British political history being posted is very, very, odd.

BestIsWest · 29/06/2024 22:31

C4 here with a bit of Sky (I like Beth Rigby and Ruth Davidson on Electoral Dysfunction and they’ll be on Sky. It will seem odd not to be watching BBC though so no doubt I’ll be flipping over to that too.

I think it is. Pretty sure verdantverdure has posted on here before

MissMarplesNiece · 29/06/2024 22:39

I've just seen that clip of Farage at a meeting when a screen comes down slowly above him with a picture of Putin I ❤ Nigel written underneath. I think it was a stunt from Led By Donkeys. It's made me laugh so much - Farage is so full of himself on stage then he catches sight of the screen. Weirdly as the screen comes down the audience applauds as if it's part of his presentation. Two guys desperately try to pull the screen down but can't quite reach, lol.

Spandauer · 29/06/2024 22:40

I watched a bit of Fartage on QT - well, had half an ear on it. The audience were a tad frosty. Well done them.

Ooh, that’s a good idea, I might do one channel on the TV and the other on the iPad.

Oh my god. I love your’s too. I mentioned it to my DH the yesterday as I think it’s hilarious and I used to refer to “Eat Out to Get Infected” when the scheme was underway.

He laughed and said that it’s great way of saying an awful lot with very few words.

Thank you. It is nice to see some lurkers de-lurking. Please stick around, I think we are going to have a blast on Thursday night/Friday morning!

Wtaf??!! 😂

L1ttledrummergirl · 29/06/2024 23:17

I didn't realise Bridgen had been knighted. Can he be arrested for impersonating a Knight of the realm, treason and locked away for a very long time please?

Love the led by donkeys stunt.

TokyoSushi · 29/06/2024 23:18

Was making dinner earlier and realised that I now have items in my fridge that will last longer than this government- we're so nearly there!

Just perfection. Led by donkeys are ace.

I’ll be watching C4 mainly.
