How often do you clean the bathroom?

Is once a month sufficient? Family of 3. Loo is cleaned weekly.

Toilets all wiped and bleached daily, floors also mopped daily. Sinks wiped round as needed which is mostly daily. Can't imagine being able to do it any less with boys living in the house who can't seem to aim.

I approve of the trend of men sitting down to pee!

I had no idea how filthy I was until reading this thread. Also, where do people get the time for buffing taps once a week! Op, we do ours when it looks dirty or when we have visitors coming. We recently had a water softener installed and it's made it look less manky!

I don't know what in earth some people are doing in their bathrooms, but I do mine weekly, and even then it's pretty clean.

Also curious why the obsession with bleach. It's not as though anyone touches or licks the inside of the bowl....... Only use it if someone has a stomach issue or is ill, which no-one has been for years, so obviously doing sufficient cleaning.

We have three, they each get properly cleaned once a week (although when I say properly cleaned it’s about 10 mins per bathroom) and a quick wipe over of taps/toilet in between cleans (takes a few minutes) or if looking particularly manky. My DC’s bathroom gets pretty disgusting with pee on the seat and toothpaste in the sink. My bathroom is never really bad unless one of the DC happen to use it and hardly anyone uses the other one, only guests really so it’s easy to keep on top of.

Weekly. It's an all female household, and that seems to make a difference.

A full deep clean once a week but I will often every other day or so wipe around the toilet, squirt a bit of bleach down it etc.

Ideally weekly in reality fortnightly with a quick freshen up in between if needed.

We have very low standards in this house and yet it’s a full clean weekly and the loo usually twice a week as a minimum.
Even I think monthly is grim.

That said we don’t do the floor often enough, nor do we dust it enough either. It’s pretty dusty.

Toilet cleaned every day and bathroom once sometimes twice a week throughly and clean bath are every use.

We have a cleaner every two weeks to deep clean. We bleach the toilets daily and I wipe down the sinks & surfaces with antibacterial wipes every few days to keep on top of it.

Weekly. Only takes 15 mins. Bath, loo, sink, spray mop floor.

I hate cleaning bathrooms so take 10 minutes to do one element daily in rotation as part of my daily routine so it never needs a big clean: so loo on Monday. shower on Tuesday, sink on Wednesday. vertical surfaces Thursday, horizontal Friday, bath Saturday. Obviously sink and loo get a quick spritz in between times too. It works for me anyway.

Have always found deep cleaning on MN a mystery ,I just wipe around after cleaning teeth ,pooing,showering . Just normal hygiene 🤦‍♀️

Clean the loo everyday, shower and bath get a quick clean and a squeegee over after every use. Floors mopped twice a week. Proper clean weekly.

Sunday I do a proper clean - bath, shower, sink, toilet, windowsill, cabinet - and DP mops the floor. In a Tuesday and a Friday I do sink and loo. Always do bleach round the rim.

Um ... I'm thinking I might do it soon ... honest.

Daily - I am so glad I don't have to use some people's bathrooms!!
