How often do you clean yours out?

NigellaAwesome · 03/04/2024 17:11

Rarely. I do tip the oil out though.

Ilikewinter · 03/04/2024 17:12

Every time I use it, I assumed that was the normal thing to do!

Noseyoldcow · 03/04/2024 17:12

They stink if you do t keep them clean, so every time it's used.

Biscuitandacuppa · 03/04/2024 17:13

Each time it is used, otherwise you are cooking your food in dried on crispy bits from other food and old oil which is disgusting.

AtomicBlondeRose · 03/04/2024 17:13

Every time here. It’s not too hard to swill them out.

fatphalange · 03/04/2024 17:14

Every single time I use it!

Littlebitpsycho · 03/04/2024 17:14

We have silicone liner trays for ours but if we cook something without it then every time - can't bear it if it looks or feels oily 🤮

Hoplolly · 03/04/2024 17:14

I use silicone liners so never! I just throw them in the dishwasher.

YesThatsATurdOnTheRug · 03/04/2024 17:15

I have a tray type and it goes in the dishwasher every time it's used, like a baking tray would.

Aposterhasnoname · 03/04/2024 17:16

Everytime 8 use it, why wouldn’t you.

lobsterkiller · 03/04/2024 17:16

Every time. It's easy enough to do. I use baking paper sometimes to minimise drips/spills etc.

PutOnYourRedShoesAndLetsDance · 03/04/2024 17:16

Mine are non stick.. two drawer Haden.. every time l use it.. only thing l don't put in the dishwasher.. bit of fairy n hot water . Leave to soak.. easy to clean.

Desmondo2021 · 03/04/2024 17:16

I have disposal liners so rarely. And I don't put oil in.

Tessisme · 03/04/2024 17:16

Every single time, unless I've used a dish to hold the food. It's the only thing I'm really fastidious about. Everything else just lies there until it's a health hazard😆

TwirlyWhirlie · 03/04/2024 17:17

Ours just get put in the dishwasher after every use.

Shinyeyes · 03/04/2024 17:18

It goes in the dishwasher every time I use it. Apart from if I've used it to 'boil' and egg. Then I don't bother.

Sunquest · 03/04/2024 17:19

I use a silicone liner which goes in the dishwasher after every use. Every so often I stick the whole drawer in the dishwasher.

Soontobe60 · 03/04/2024 17:20

Almost every time - depending on what Ive cooked.
Oven chips - wash straight away
Crispbakes - dont wash straight away
Bacon or sausages - put a piece of kitchen roll underneath the little tray to catch the excess fat, then wash straight away.
Anything cooked in a tray or the silicone liner means no washing required.

Isseywith3witchycats · 03/04/2024 17:21

every time i use it i dont have a dishwasher so hot soapy water every time takes seconds i paid a lot for a ninja one so i intend to look after it

justasking111 · 03/04/2024 17:22

Every time as soon as the food is removed a bit of fairy, hot water and leave to soak until after we've eaten. The instructions manual I finally got around to reading tells me how to clean the inside. Which I admit I haven't done yet.

pickupcar · 03/04/2024 17:22

Every time it's used unless it's only had something like part baked bread in it

menopausalmare · 03/04/2024 17:22

Every time if cooking greasy sausages. I might do a cheeky wipe and reuse if cooked oven chips or nuggets.

ItsVeryHyacinthBucket · 03/04/2024 17:22

I’m a newbie and washing them up every time feels like a chore, takes away from the convenience of the thing. Liners sound intriguing…doesn’t the oil just leak around/underneath tho?

OP posts:
Perfect28 · 03/04/2024 17:22

Every time?

Pigwidgeon99 · 03/04/2024 17:24

Every time but they are non stick so just a wipe with a soapy cloth and a rinse does it, takes seconds!
