Marks and Spencer or Waitrose/John Lewis?

Waitrose (I'm not bothered by John Lewis). M&S is boring train station sandwiches to me. I've never really been impressed with their food/clothing, so nothing worth saving for me. At least in Waitrose, I can get normal food.

Which ever one my butler prefers

Save JL/Waitrose.

The food and clothes are generally loads nicer.

It'd have to be M&S, simply because we don't have JL/Waitrose in my country.

I'm not MC so I don't know is my plebian opinion is worth something, but JL customer service is absolutely nothing like it used to be, food quality in Waitrose is also on the decline and my local cafe is often scruffy. M&S always seem to have great food, staff are brilliant and it's clean. Bye Bye JL you've had your day.

M&S. Food is decent and basic clothing items such as t-shirts/shirts that go under sweaters are good quality (can certainly be washed more than once).

M&S do the only jeans that fit me. And there's no JL or Waitrose here anyway, so the decision is made for me.

Waitrose/JL all the way

Currently in the m and s cafe and good god it’s bleak. Counter staff sullen and slow, cup handed to me with no saucer no asking if I want a spoon or sugar and the counter is filthy. About five staff so not short staffed. So definitely not m and a they don’t deserve it today!

I’ve boycotted Marks and Spencer’s since their Christmas advert anyway.

I can’t remember the last time I went in M&S. I do buy multipacks of knickers from them online. I don’t think I’d care if they vanished. There isn’t one near me anyway.

I wouldn’t care if JL vanished either - customer service has become shit.

I’d be a bit pissed if Waitrose vanished. I only go there once every month or six weeks so not that pissed. But I do like the stuff in there. I usually go to Tesco.

I'd save Waitrose, but only after I'd stocked up on M&S pants.
