Shit dinner thread

Couldn't be asked to cook today. Long day at work and just generally knackered. I thought I did pretty good rustling this up in less than 45 mins (considering I was really close to ordering takeout) but according to DM, it is a 'shit dinner.'

Any other shit dinners to share or does everyone else eat 5* gourmet 7 days a week?

After thinking, shopping and cooking family meals for 18 years of which DC has been a "selective" eater for approx 17 years, your dinner looks great OP!! Absolutely nowt wrong with that and your DM needs to be a bloody sight more grateful.

I had a meal deal for dinner but am starving again! Would kill for some chicken dippers OP!

I had hello fresh boxes for ages - great for whipping up a decent dinner

However - i now live alone and have health issues - a local woman does home cooked meals and delivery and that's what I do now

Saves time waste and money . Just bought an air fryer to reheat them .

Mine is a 10 minute tofu stir fry, a fried egg and microwave rice. If I only have to concern myself with myself, it’s instant noodles. You’ve got me beat by a mile.

I’m trying to use up things in the pantry and freezer. I had a marinated lamb steak of dubious vintage from the freezer and purple sauerkraut. Tbf, it was delicious, but the rest of the family went for frozen risotto.

Crumpets with peanut butter? I’m going to have to try this!

When I can't be bothered I have a tin of tuns with mayonnaise and a tub of ice cream or a packet of biscuits. Sometimes I have bread dipped in melted cheese or a tin of tomato soup with crisp on top. Your meal looks gourmet if you're tired!

Well, when I got home I opened a tin of beans. Poured some in a container, drizzled with Worcestershire sauce and ate them. Cold!
