I just had a rummage in my freezer looking for inspiration for tonight's dinner and found a plastic container containing leftovers of some sort. I always write on the lid what things are, and it clearly says:

CEDRIC GROSS

What in the wide world can it be? Do I have to thaw it so I can find out? It looks like it may be something with rice, but what? 😂

I'm with this poster. It's the school hamster that died in the summer holidays and you wanted to keep proof it had died and not escaped or been kidnapped.

Are you 100% sure you wrote on it, OP, and that Cedric Gross isn't some Chinese takeaway's delivery driver who happened to bring your food that night?

could the RIC G bit actually say rice. So CED RICE ROSS (with CED and ROSS meaning something obvs!)

I once thought I had taken sausages out for tea. But they were rat's for dss snakes. We got a small separate freezer for the snakes food after that.😂😂😂

When I was a student (many decades ago) we had a lecturer called Cedric, who was fairly gross. His research involved weighing the testicles of hamsters exposed to different amounts of daylight, so @Doggymummar could be on the right lines.

Be careful indeed... my mother once had friends for dinner.. the main course went well then she went to serve up the pudding .. lovely berries (defrosted) with meringue and ice cream.....

I was once told about a very drunken night in France, that involved using up an entire freezer full of frozen fruit for daiquiris. Apparently the evening was going swimmingly until the liver daiquiris arrived!

Following with interest! My DH would also eat it - he’ll pretty much eat anything…. 😬

My Mum served my Dad mash, peas and apple pie with gravy this week having not labelled her pies properly for the freezer. Like a trooper he ate it too because THAT'S LOVE, (also fear I suspect 😂).
