Iām not sure she hasnāt had the support she needs. In fact I think it highly likely she did and doesnāt any more.
The fact she didnāt like or want her conservatoirship is not a confirmation it was wrong, many people who need signficant mental health care, inc inpatient stays, will rally against it, fight tooth and nail not to have it, say why itās bad, that they donāt need it. Plead to not have it, try to escape it or not even take their medication.
britney needed more than just medical care, due to her fame and wealth giving rise to additional vulnerabilities and risks.
If you are significantly mentally impacted, It is more the norm to fight care than accepting it. A core part of many mental health illnesses and disorders mean you do not know, understand or want the care you need. Because you are not functioning in a healthy manner. And from what was being said in court, Britney sadly lacks the cognitive ability now to understand what is in her best interests.
sadly as Britney is so famous a lot of people who had no idea what her diagnoses was, what risks she faced, and what she required due to it, got behind her in getting her care and protection removed, with the whole free Britney campaign, and her family, particularly her father coming in for huge abuse.
So now here we are.
its very sad, but even the most ardent Britney fan must see now a woman who is is clearly not functioning and that itās obvious this has been the case for a very long time, and that there was a reason the conservatoirship was in place and that it was for her own protection. Instead her issues are being played out in the public eye.
