Just seen on Instagram that PS is stepping down with immediate effect from This morning! I mean, I'm not that bothered but there's been lots of speculation recently re his brother's conviction and the rumoured spat with Holly but I thought it would probably all blow over. I'm sure he's got a bob or two --is loaded-- but I'm still a bit surprised if I'm honest.

Um I don't think that it's at all common for anyone, no matter their sexuality to be interested in a 15 year old when they're 50+

There is no room for anyone to normalise this. In America, if you have sex with an underage person they throw away the key. Like in the case of Brittany Zamora.

Thinks, as in later teenagers to 20 - 22 meeting up with an older man and having consensual sex is a perfectly valid choice.

What skewers peoples acceptance and raises eyebrows is when a very significantly older man meets a 9yr old boy, maintains what appears to be a publicly reasonable mentoring type of relationship which slowly evolves nearer the time of a legal sexual consent age. Later on discovering the older man has a penchant for lying evidenced by his coming out and now acknowledged affair.

THAT is what people quite rightly are disturbed by, this behaviour has all the hallmarks of grooming.

I am not talking underage. I am talking 18 plus. Legal age, adult but very young. Twinks is also about looking younger than you are - looking like a teen even when in early 20s.

There are many many IG accounts of young gay men with much older partners that have lots of followers. It isn't a taboo thing, or not very taboo to many.

By all accounts, including rumours, they didn't start a relationship until MM came to London for his 3 week work placement at ITV when he was just turning 19. There was clearly coommunication before then, but what it was or wasn't, I don't know.

Do people not understand grooming? When an older man targets a 10 year old child, tells them how great they are and even gets them their first job. The power balance is not the same as when a young adult meets an older man. The fact he may have managed to control himself until MM was of age is neither here nor there.

I used to work with one such person, expert on TM who was just a total horror to work with and notice they've been silent in this. No idea if it's true or not but a very very well established rumour.

They were not equals when they met, no, Liam was a schoolboy hoping to get famous and still a teenager, like the other boys from One Direction at the time. He admitted openly he had a crush on Cheryl then. The two situations are different, but Liam and Cheryl ending up together left me with some discomfort for sure.
