I write notes to myself on my left hand like 'to dos' abbreviated. Eg 'chem' for chemist.,

I'm right handed but use cutlery the "wrong" way around.

I almost never wear a bra.

I have no issues drinking cold tea or coffee.

HoldingTheDoor · 05/05/2023 11:21

I eat burgers in layers.

You have low standards is all I can say :)

I eat burgers in layers.

This made me feel physically sick

Softoprider · 05/05/2023 11:27

When putting the washing out I count the pegs and pin them onto my clothes. It's 'right' for me (OCD)
I know it's not the quickest way but I can't do it any other.

Setting a place for dcat at the table...
He loves his veg and having tea with us!

Slice bananas on my curry. I am advised this is disgusting

N0tANOoDl3He4D · 05/05/2023 11:30

I chuck my rubbish at the same area of floor in my bedroom then collect it up into the bin in the other room when I'm done with whatever I'm up to.

Blondey2023 · 05/05/2023 11:30

Spray my bed with chanel perfume every day when I make it. Then when the beds get changed every weekend I chose a different perfume for that week.

We always had a bowl of sliced bananas and a bowl of tinned mandarin segments with curry when I was little!

I still have the mandarins with it now!

We hang wet laundry on the clothes horse in an order based on how much we like each item and things we don’t like as much can’t go next to our favourite items. I’ve always had this foible whereas I think DH only absorbed it through living with me. It gives me a bit of a twitch if I watch somebody hanging their laundry any old way, but they’re usually baffled at the concept of having a special order.

HoldingTheDoor · 05/05/2023 11:34

I have to arrange the eggs in the egg box in a symmetrical pattern.

I walk up and down when I'm excited.

Talking to animals

I blame Johnny Morris. Well, it amuses me.

IhearyouClemFandango · 05/05/2023 11:35

I Whatsapp myself things I need to do when I remember. The message chain is then a working to-do list. Easy when I don't have my diary/paper with me.

IDontWantToBeAPie · 05/05/2023 11:37

I like my food lukewarm. DP likes it steaming, I don't get the attraction it just hurts to eat.

I drink celery juice mixed with coconut water because I like the taste. Again, DP says it's disgusting but I love it.

I prefer cold coffee.

I'm the same. I like food to be warm rather than hot. There's nothing more frustrating than burning your tongue/mouth.

We have good and bad clothes pegs.
Grotty old clothes don't get the nice pegs because they don't deserve them.

Theelephantinthecastle · 05/05/2023 11:39

I'm a lucid dreamer and always have been.

I am ambidextrous as is my dad though we are different - he has some things he always does left handed and other things right handed, I switch mid flow, e.g. if I am playing football, I will use my right and left feet interchangeably

My dog has a squeaky voice and a lisp , she is only eleven weeks , but it's cute because her name has two ss's in it .

MaisieDaisyMay · 05/05/2023 11:45

I can't even begin to explain my laundry habits & im sure no one wants to read that much garbage!

but some of these posts seem so incredibly 'normal' so I think I must have more 'odd behaviours' than even I realise!

<gulp>

That must get expensive!

Oh I feel a bit sad for the old unloved workhorse clothes. Sad

me- well, anthromorphises household objects I guess. Grin

I also do the egg box thing, although this is partly to make sure the box is weight balanced and less likely to get dropped. At least that's the logical explanation I tell myself is behind it.

whirlyhead · 05/05/2023 11:51

Talk to inanimate objects. I tell my washing machine how much I love it and my dishwasher how much I hate it. I Also apologise to objects i fall over/bump into.

all my cats have their own voices and have conversations with us in those voices, but I think every pet owner does that.
