What's the most attractive trait / quality someone can have?

Just this. What makes someone attractive in your eyes. I'm quite drawn to intellectual men ( I'm thick as mince myself) I just find it so grrrrr when someone really knows stuff and is effortless without the arrogance.

self-awareness. you can work around other shortfalls if they have a bit of self-awareness.

Moooooooooooooooooo · 02/05/2023 21:07

Kindness.

Bluebells1970 · 02/05/2023 21:08

Decency. Plain old, common or garden decency. Moral fibre.

That's the most attractive quality imo.

Inextremis · 02/05/2023 21:08

A sense of humour and the ability to be funny - I'm instantly attracted to people who make me laugh.

That's so true!

Straightforwardness. I’ve no time in my life for people who don’t say what they mean, mean what they say, with everything requiring one to look for hidden meanings or read between the lines.

Tatiepot · 02/05/2023 21:10

I’m with @Bluebells1970 - decency wins every time.

MaryJean87 · 02/05/2023 21:11

Passion. Whether it's about sex, a hobby or their career.

Nereides · 02/05/2023 21:12

When I was younger I wanted a sensitive intellectual man even if he wasn’t hot. Now I’m older and haven’t had hot sex for years I just wish I had someone physically sexy to roll in the hay with!

Chocbuttonsandredwine · 02/05/2023 21:12

Big arms 😍

Twoshoesnewshoes · 02/05/2023 21:12

Sense of humour, not taking themselves too seriously

Chocbuttonsandredwine · 02/05/2023 21:13

Seriously though intelligence, someone I can talk with

I remember one (ex) boyfriend asked me what Chicken Kiev was. I died

BeyondMyWits · 02/05/2023 21:13

Yep, decency for me too.

When an ex tripped over my dog, he swore and blamed the dog.

When my (now) husband tripped over the dog he checked on the dog.

GoodnightJude1 · 02/05/2023 21:14

Empathy and a sense of humour

doozledog · 02/05/2023 21:14

Being a good dad weirdly

AgnesX · 02/05/2023 21:15

Kindness, very under rated. And more than some of us deserve.

TellySavalashairbrush · 02/05/2023 21:16

Kindness 100%

LubaLuca · 02/05/2023 21:16

Gumption. I like people who trust themselves to make decisions.

Staggersaurus · 02/05/2023 21:18

Kindness, humour and being nice to their mum.

Pissedoffandcovidy · 02/05/2023 21:18

Kindness and quick sense of humour.

Zipps · 02/05/2023 21:19

Generosity. Nothing worse than being with a tight arse scrooge carefully counting every single penny and frowning about each purchase you make.

MachineBee · 02/05/2023 21:19

Kindness every time.

LadyKenya · 02/05/2023 21:21

Staggersaurus · 02/05/2023 21:18

Kindness, humour and being nice to their mum.

Yes!

PauliesWalnuts · 02/05/2023 21:21

Emotional intelligence. Someone who doesn’t keep things bottled up .

katmarie · 02/05/2023 21:22

I think just basic competence at being an adult covers a lot of ground. So is able to make a meal, do a shop, spot when things need doing, behave like a decent grown up person.

But also kindness and empathy. I'm asking a lot aren't I?
