Ah, but cycling is surely the outing hobby preserve of the DH. Either that or 'sport - too outing to say what but think goals, corner flags, ball, referee, offside rule'

I'm working tomorrow so I'm a little bit jel! I'll have a vino tomorrow if anyone is floating around this thread tomorrow evening!

Good lord how did that pass me by ! I saw it in WHsmiths last month and thought it was new (ish) .
I am glad it's good I have been looking forward to reading it for a few weeks now.

And may we just raise a glass to usualsuspect who sadly can no longer be with us owing to rather unfortunate banning from the site. Unless she is here is another guise <ever hopeful>

DH just got home from work although he'll sit up for a bit to unwind so I get to go steal all the covers if I go to bed now.

Tbh it's the only reason I'm thinking of going to bed. I'd stay up longer otherwise but no other booze in the house so I'm cherishing the last of it.

I know tomorrow I will be glad I didn't have anything else in the house but I feel a bit sad now that there is no can of beer from three weeks ago lurking at the back of the fridge.😞

I do love a random fridge beer that's been in there for a questionable amount of time. Ours vanished a few days ago though. 😇

The questionable fridge beer - the miniature bottle of novelty-flavoured rum from Christmas at the back of the cupboard - the small bottle of v. naice cider I bought to put in a casserole on Sunday ... all have been my best friend at night and my worst enemy in the morning😄

No hangover at all. Just a sore back because I must have slept in a weird position.
