I'm on the white wine. Would love junk food but I had a Chinese already this week 🤔 so shitty freezer dinner it is.

Well I’m not drunk, I’ve had 2 of those small cans of beer but am going to have a glass of wine with dinner.
I get such awful hangovers these days though that I’m warned off drinking much unless it’s an occasion that warrants it!

I'm aaay for the weekend - slightly unusual setup - dh is a rural GP and is working the holiday weekend so we've booked ourselves for not a cute little hotel in his practice area (we live in the big city) and I'm here to keep him company. I know a lot of GPS are busy on a weekend but here it's less quantity of calls and more distance - he can easily be called 40 miles away on single track roads.

So we had dinner in the hotel, he had coke, I had 2 pints of local ale. Back to our room now and he's asleep and I'm half way through a rather nice Fiano.

So I'm a wee bit on the tipsy side, but now having to be very quiet in case I wake him up!!

Though this kind of ruined it for me

I now have to drink through the empire strikes back film been outvoted.
