For me Yorkshire/Whitby would be the furthest North, although I will be in Newcastle for the first time next month. Never been to Scotland but it’s on my list:

Furthest South would be Lulworth:Dorset, absolutely beautiful.

Oops. Furthest East js actually Great Yarmouth.

SockQueen · 15/04/2023 00:24

Eshaness on Shetland, and Dartmouth. Never made it into Cornwall yet!

Squirrelsnut · 15/04/2023 00:26

Lizard and Edinburgh.

Allmyfavouritepeople · 15/04/2023 00:27

Pitlochry, Scotland
Been to either Land's end or the lizard but not sure which.

Great question, going to steal it for an ice breaker

WeAllHaveWings · 15/04/2023 00:28

Aviemore + Lands End

GobbieMaggie · 15/04/2023 00:33

Lands End - Lerwick.

IntheSnowySnowyMountains · 15/04/2023 00:37

I was born in Middlesbrough so pretty far north 😂 but I've been to Loch Ness as a young child (I forget where else on that trip) and Edinburgh as an adult. South would be Polperro in Cornwall, unless we are counting the Chanel Islands.

FatGirlSwim · 15/04/2023 00:38

Edinburgh
Lands End

shieldmaiden7 · 15/04/2023 00:41

South - Lands End
(Or Isles if Scilly if that counts as it's still Cornwall)
North - Pontefract

EmmiJay · 15/04/2023 00:42

North - Scunthorpe. Any further north and I'd be an endangered species tbh😅

South - Torquay. Beautiful!

BelindaMelinda · 15/04/2023 00:52

Dundee and Land's End.

SinnerBoy · 15/04/2023 06:13

Lands End, I must go to the Scillies before I die.

Ardnamurchan Point.

Lowestoft.

Had a rain soaked barbecue on Muckle Flugga. We were in The Shetland's for a motorbike rally and a local family arranged a boat trip from Yell.

Whichnumbers · 15/04/2023 06:15

Mullion/lizard and John o Groats

I didn't think you were allowed to land on Muckle Flugga. We are in Shetland again next year so I will investigate thanks

IncompleteSenten · 15/04/2023 08:03

North - John o groats.

I bought Scottish tablet from the gift shop there. Holy shit that stuff!

South would be Newquay.

ClassicLib · 15/04/2023 08:04

North : Oban
South : Lizard Point (or Jersey, if you count that as part of the U.K.)
East : Cromer
West : Derry

lippylippy · 15/04/2023 08:12

Lossiemouth and Ilfracombe

This was about 20 years ago, the lighthouse keepers were long gone, even then.

IhearyouClemFandango · 15/04/2023 08:19

I live pretty far South, Isle of Wight. That and the Lizard.

Haven't been all that far up North, probably the Lake District?

IhearyouClemFandango · 15/04/2023 08:19

Sorry, meant lands end not lizard

somewhereovertherain · 15/04/2023 08:25

Pitlochry
Penzance

CosyFanTucci · 15/04/2023 08:31

The Lizard and Aviemore, I think. Feel I should go to the Orkneys or Shetlands one day though.

Edthehorse · 15/04/2023 08:35

Furthest North- Scottish highlands/Loch Ness

Furthest South- lizard point

Simplelobsterhat · 15/04/2023 08:35

Gosh, looking at a map and realising how little of the UK I've actually seen!

South (and west) lands end or near it
North Blackpool
East Dover

And all of these were as a child! The adult map would be even smaller. I must explore England more and get to Scotland one day!

Wtfishappeningnow · 15/04/2023 08:40

Furthest north is port of ness on the Isle of Lewis, the very north tip. Furthest south is Plymouth.
