For me Yorkshire/Whitby would be the furthest North, although I will be in Newcastle for the first time next month. Never been to Scotland but it’s on my list:

Furthest South would be Lulworth:Dorset, absolutely beautiful.

South - Ventnor on the Isle of Wight

I've been to the northern most point of mainland Uk - Dunnet Point in the highlands, Scotland. I've been to John O'Groats too.

I've also been to the most southern point of mainland UK too - Lizard Point, in Cornwall, England. I've also been to Lands End.

On different trips though.

Most northerly: footpath looking over to muckle flugga on Unst in Shetland

Most southerly: not sure. I went to the Scilly isles as a child but don't know whether we made it anywhere south of the Lizard.

Most easterly: Lowestoft

Most westerly: South Uist.

South - the Lizard and North - somewhere on Unst, Shetland, but I forget where, it was so long ago.

Roundaboutabee · 14/04/2023 23:27

I was at lizard point last week, and I’ve been as far north as Ullapool though that was 35 years ago.

Furthest North - Isle of Lewis. My then-boyfriend and I stayed in Gearrannan Blackhouse Village, which is well worth seeing if you’re up that way.

Furthest South - The Lizard in Cornwall.
