I see you the exhibition centre (didn't visit) & raise you Nessieland - the single worst tourist attraction EVER....
Boat trip that left from there was fantastic though!

Have also been to Kelowna (not that weird, surely? There’s a ski resort there), and have certainly driven through Hell’s Gate, possibly on the same trip, though not sure if we stopped off.

We did live in Canada though, so did a fair few trips to the west coast.

I’m going to add Tobermory, Ontario - two totally beautiful but tiny national parks up there (Bruce Peninsula NP and Fathom Five National Marine Park).

OP, could you please link to the old thread so I can check to see if I'm a winner? My (hopefully winning) place was Treichville, the African quarter of Abidjan, former capital of Ivory Coast.

I lived in Tarawa for a year, the capital of Kiribati (pronounced Kiribass)

They say it's a s far away from anywhere else that you can get.

In the middle of the Pacific, not much more than group of sandbanks.

And Ramsar, on the Iranian coast of the Caspian Sea.

I definitely have Khabarovsk, would have to check a train map for the rest of the Russian ones but if they are on the Trans Sib or Trans Mongolian lines consider them claimed.
