Your story reminded me when I was living in Ireland when I went to watch England Germany match (which England won 5-1) I kept quiet at first but then did cheer when they kept scoring - a lone supporter as everyone else was firmly on Germany's side!

The suspense must be off the scale by now.. I kept forgetting to reply. I'm not a narco traffico...
We arrived in Colombia on a bus from Venezuela. There was no passport control, just drove over the border. We went straight to Santa Marta, lovely but notorious, party and beach town. A few days after we arrived, someone at the hostel said we should get our passports stamped or we would be in deep shit. So we went to the office to get it done. They held us for 48 hours, at gunpoint but allowed to go home to sleep. Then gave us 24 hours to leave the country. Which was a stretch as we were heading for Ecuador.
