Maybe it was all fresh and new when you were a kid! When I went it was so worn out that there was a leak in one of rooms, and water was dripping through the ceiling ... and one of the very ancient and blurry video projections was stuck.

Has anyone been through the countryside of Serbia and Macedonia? İ don't know the names of places that my train went through but it took forever and we ended up in Belgrade.

Also don't know if anyone has taken my shot with the top of the hill of Old Cazedero Road, Guerneville, California. Or even Guerneville would be great to know!

The main island of Tahiti has the capital Papeete so includes a small urbanised area. The first time I went (a long time ago) I was by myself, so hired a car and drove around the island, taking in a Gauguin museum, lush greenery and idyllic beaches. It was a shame not to have someone there experiencing it with me, especially when asked to take photos of numerous couples. Moorea is a short boat ride or flight on a little plane away, and I think still the most beautiful place I've been to. I would love to explore some of the further away islands, and other nations in the Pacific. Not exactly handy to get there from the UK though; the flights I took went to / from Easter Island and Sydney.

Catching up on other places mentioned but possibly not claimed yet, I've been on Vatnajokull Glacier in Iceland, to Easter Island, and the shell grotto in Margate. Central Asia is a massive gap in my travelling experience.
