Have you been to a place no one else has been to?

I'll start. The idea is you name the place and a fellow MNer has to say if they've been there. However, you don't have to wait until you've been somewhere to post. Post your places and you'll meet the MNers who've been there. You can post 1-3 places (random numbers).

I've been to:

Rwanda
The Whisundays
Cathedral Grove (Vancouver Island)

Still no other takers for Fray Bentos!

There are so many places listed I haven't been to but can tick off the following mentioned (sorry for the list); Petra, Wadi Rum, Masada, Jaipur, Xi'an, Cape Horn, Caracas, Philip Island, Tofino, Blair Atholl (whisky tasting!), Kamloops, Las Vegas, Grand Canyon and LA.

No, my dad was though. But I think he only went back and forth to North America. I went to a bunch those places when I lived in South Africa and I could fly direct.

@Azure not Fray Bentos, but I have been to (and liked) Colonia del Sacramento in Uruguay.

Keep it to 3, people. I’ve got a list of places as long as your arm - I have been very luck in my life to have been to a lot of amazing places and seen a lot of amazing things. I could post at length here! 🤣

However, my shortlist of 3 is:

Bujagali Falls, Uganda.
Shymbulak ski resort, Kazakhstan.
The Stables, Badminton House (during Badminton Horse Trials. A very special opportunity!)

Stunning! We were there for 5 days after a trip to NZ. Stayed in a beachfront bungalow on the south side of the island. The sea is incredible!

That was 15 years ago before kids - holidays have been largely in Devon and Norfolk since then 🤣

Almaty in Kazakhstan, it was lovely and Bishkek is Kyrgyzstan both fascinating places.

I've been to Magnetic Island, but not Rwanda.

I've been to quite a few of the Aus / NZ places mentioned, but they've already been "claimed" by others.

I'm trying a few more as my first three have all been visited:

Zabljak, Montenegro (I went when it was still Yugoslavia)
Abisko, Sweden
Providenciales, Turks & Caicos.
