If you’re 5ft 6 / 5ft 7, how many KG do you weigh?

Just out of curiosity. I’m 168cm so almost 5 ft 7. Weigh 69.9kg-72kg depending on the time of the month and wear a size 31 Jean. I feel massively grumpy and podgy, and tbh shocked that I’m almost a size 14! I was a size 8 (55kg) prelockdown, went up to a 10/12 after that and then even more so after having dd2 who’s just turned one. I’ve joined the gym but I’m a terrible snacker and husband also travels so I never get a chance to go. Currently feeling very sorry for myself as I’ve got the period bloat and sitting munching on salted pretzels which definitely won’t help!

59.5kg, size 6-8

Cherrysherbet · 05/04/2023 20:27

I’m 77kg. I’m a size 16. I’m following the 5:2 plan atm, and doing well.
Hoping to get down to about 69kg and a size 14. I’m really active and feel fit. I don’t want to be thin, would just like to be in my healthy range.

BadGranny · 05/04/2023 20:27

I’m 5’ 7”, 73kg, size 14, and quite happy with that.

carly2803 · 05/04/2023 20:27

84kg and size 12

i need to shift 16kg but even then i was a solid size 10

Schmutter · 05/04/2023 20:28

I’m 5’8 and 59kg this morning. Bit annoying as I was 55kg before I went on holiday last month.

Violetrose1 · 05/04/2023 20:30

I’m 5ft 7 and 76kg. I’m a size 14 but very pear shaped as have smaller boobs and a small waist but big hips and thighs

CarPoor · 05/04/2023 20:32

About 72kg

Heavier than I'm used to being (gained a lot of weight since summer) and I'm unhappy because none of my clothes fit. Most of it is on my thighs and just will not go

Endlessdark · 05/04/2023 20:33

@Violetrose1 i have the exact same body shape!

5ft7 and 65kg. 1 year post-partum and still 2-3kg away from my normal weight

SparklingLime · 05/04/2023 20:35

98kg. Hope that makes your feel better/superior/smug.

Antiquiteas · 05/04/2023 20:47

5’6”, 52kg and five months pregnant. I’m v slight though with a small frame.

MummyJ36 · 05/04/2023 20:50

Around 79kg. Had my second baby 6 months ago via c-section so been physically a bit out of sorts. However my weight is usually around this anyway, it’s just post pregnancy my shape is a bit iffy these days! Lowest I’ve ever been is 67kg. It took a lot of effort and fairly disordered eating to achieve this and one I had DC1 I just didn’t have the time or energy to concentrate solely on keeping my weight down.

Berlioz23 · 05/04/2023 20:50

68kg, would be happier at 63. I’m a size 18 but only because of my bust, trousers I’m a 12

mizu · 05/04/2023 20:50

5ft 7", not sure how much I weigh as we don't have scales but I did weigh myself last summer when we stayed at relatives house. Think I was around 67 kg....... I'm 10-12 generally.

BarryK3nt · 05/04/2023 20:53

I’m 5 foot 7 and 52kg

mynameiscalypso · 05/04/2023 20:53

Same height as you and 78kg. In a 12/14 at the moment. Starting to lose after a period of rubbish health and have lost 4kgs. I used to be 56kg and that was pretty much perfect. It feels a long way away at the moment.

Frenchfancy · 05/04/2023 20:55

76kg. Would be happier at 72. I would look like a skeleton at under 65 ( I'm guessing as I was 67kg many years ago pre children with a great body)

TeresaCrowd · 05/04/2023 20:55

84kg size 14. I’m also quite ‘dense’ as another poster put it. I’d like to be mid 70s kg but realistically I’m not built to be a size 8 based on even my national level athlete days as a size 10/12 at low 70s kg but reasonably low bodyfat. Have a few health things that make losing weight more challenging but I got down from 90 to 80 here over lockdown. Being back at work full time rather than the 3 days a week during covid has reduced exercise and upped snacking though.

Easterfunbun · 05/04/2023 20:57

i weigh 38kg.

whistkesore · 05/04/2023 20:59

About 58 kilos. A bit flabby now but only because I have long covid and I’m unable to exercise now.

I weighed a bit more when I was healthy so had a few kilos of muscle then.

I eat a bit less now but just don’t get as hungry?

There’s loads of exercises you could do at home OP, online? A PT or using Davinas videos etc.

Lilbunnyfufu · 05/04/2023 21:03

I'm 5ft6 and weigh 53kg and wear a size 8 or 10 depending on where I buy my clothes.

Itsgottobeme · 05/04/2023 21:06

You not to stop attributing your worth and how you feel to your weight and size.what is size, weight but an aesthetic ideal that been drummed and manipulated into you since birth. Your upset because your equating how you feel to a shitty number or size a disordered toxic society puts on thenideal body weight, look, size.
There is miserable times ahead if you do t just let yourself be.
Your body changes In life and your so hung up on it you no your size at every point! That is what's not healthy.
It's OK to love food.to be rolly or weigh more.its OK to weigh different at different times of life.
Why do you not think its OK to be bigger.its your own weight and fat phobia you need to work on.

ABlindAssassin · 05/04/2023 21:09
