If you’re 5ft 6 / 5ft 7, how many KG do you weigh?

Just out of curiosity. I’m 168cm so almost 5 ft 7. Weigh 69.9kg-72kg depending on the time of the month and wear a size 31 Jean. I feel massively grumpy and podgy, and tbh shocked that I’m almost a size 14! I was a size 8 (55kg) prelockdown, went up to a 10/12 after that and then even more so after having dd2 who’s just turned one. I’ve joined the gym but I’m a terrible snacker and husband also travels so I never get a chance to go. Currently feeling very sorry for myself as I’ve got the period bloat and sitting munching on salted pretzels which definitely won’t help!

5ft 5in and 66.5kg which makes me a size 10. Could do with losing a couple of kg I think

TwoPointFourCatsAndDogs · 05/04/2023 20:02

82kg, I’d like to weigh 10 less! Probably a size 14/16.

Umbrellasinthesunshine · 05/04/2023 20:05

I weigh 63kg and I’m a size 8-10 (I have an athletic build/ quite muscly as I weight train a lot which is why I’m heavy for my size/height). I had a lot of extra lbs when my kids were very little and my body composition was very different as I didn’t have time for the gym, it’s a lot better now my littlest is 3. It’s so hard when they’re little though, when you never have time to workout / for yourself.

Bloatstoat · 05/04/2023 20:07

70kg Shock Pre DC I was around 60, but I would settle for 65, which I currently feel like I'll never see again. Have zero energy or motivation to do anything as youngest is 18months and still not sleeping.

Mylobsterteapot · 05/04/2023 20:07

56kg roughly.

Fudgewomble · 05/04/2023 20:09

That height and 72 kg. I’m quite toned and a size 10-12 (people are always shocked by how heavy I am - it’s always been the case that I’m very “dense”!)

Greenfinch7 · 05/04/2023 20:09

5'6 and weigh 59 kg. I still feel a little flabby even though I am in the middle of a healthy weight. I don't know if I just always feel a bit out of shape because I am not that fit and strong and am getting close to 60.

IglesiasPiggl · 05/04/2023 20:10

Pre perimenopause I was always around 62kg. But over the last two years I have gone up to about 69kg,despite not eating any more or different food. It's so annoying and very difficult to shift.

ComtesseDeSpair · 05/04/2023 20:11

5’6” and 54kg. I’m a solid size 10. I lift weights so solid in that way, too.

Xrays · 05/04/2023 20:12

Too many 🙈 about 93kg last time I checked. To be fair I have lupus and other health issues and I’m on steroids permanently for that and Addisons so it makes losing weight very difficult but I’m actually the healthiest I’ve been for a while now and been trying to do a lot of brisk walking etc. I’m a size 16/18. I used to be a size 10 and I’d love to wake up that size but sadly I think I love chocolate too much.

GarlicGrace · 05/04/2023 20:15

75kg. I'll be happy to get it under 70.

My settled weight before menopause, illness & antidepressants was 63kg. That was great, high street clothes looked good and I could exercise any bits of flab away very quickly. Kind of resigned to dressing "for my shape" now, but 70kg will see an improvement in my blood pressure and, I hope, a little less me around the middle!

Endlessdark · 05/04/2023 20:15

I also think I love chocolate too much 😳I would love to get back to lifting weights, I did it pre Dd2 and pre pandemic but have no idea how to get back into it. Wouldn’t have a clue where to start at the gym tbh!!

52kg. I'm annoyingly healthy and lucky though. No major health issues and IBS and heart attacks in the family keep me active and eating well.

NorthernSpirit · 05/04/2023 20:15

I’m 5ft 6” and weigh 60kg.

I’m a toned size 10.

I go to the gym 5 x per week & do a mix of spin & body pump (weight) classes.

Teachingteacher · 05/04/2023 20:17

5’6 and between 59-60kg. I have 2 DC (one is a 7-month old baby) and lost the baby weight after each birth. A combination of strict eating and exercise is what works best for me. Also completing all my post-natal physio so that I can run, jump, do sit ups etc.

OP my husband is also out a lot in the evenings, and I love Chloe Ting on YouTube for workouts. I do 20-30 mins each evening once the kids are down. Also Move with Nicole for Pilates/barre workouts. I go for short 20-30 min runs whenever I can, which ends up being 2-3 times per week. That’s all I can manage exercise-wise as I work full time and have the DC to take care of.

SirVixofVixHall · 05/04/2023 20:19

I am an inch taller but exactly the same size and weight as you. Also used to be 55kg.
I hate being this heavy. In my case it is hormonal stuff (thyroid, meno) and constant tiredness which makes me eat carbs.

Juiceboxxy · 05/04/2023 20:20

In the spirit of mumsnet I weigh 40kg and I'm massive.

OneSmallStepUp · 05/04/2023 20:20

I'm 5"8 and weigh 80kg and I'm a 12, my bones are clearly made of concrete.

joan12 · 05/04/2023 20:21

65kg at 5'7
Size 12 fits a bit loosely, 10 is usually good. I'm happy with that

AnnaMagnani · 05/04/2023 20:22

72 kg and a size 14.

Wish it was 66kg, however last year it was 94kg so can't complain!

PurpleMoonbows · 05/04/2023 20:24

5'6" and about 58kg. Probably a bit more tonight though as I've been troughing chocolates!

USaYwHatNow · 05/04/2023 20:25

5ft 7, 82kg. 7 months postnatal and still BF.

Was 86kg pre pregnancy so and want to get down to 12st, so about 76kg I think. I think I'd be more comfortable then.

Size 14-16 clothes due to my huge 34HH boobs. Sadly they have always been this large even pre baby 🙄😂 most of my weight is probably my boobs!

USaYwHatNow · 05/04/2023 20:25

@Juiceboxxy 😂😂😂

wibblewobbleball · 05/04/2023 20:25

5ft 7 and 114kg. I'm 4 months post partum with my second child in 3 years, and I have ADHD which leads to binge eating. I'm aware I'm extremely fat.

Magnalux · 05/04/2023 20:25

5ft7 and 73 kg. Size 12 or 14 depending on the shop! I’m on a mission to reduce it though.. I’d love to be more toned/ fitter but I really hate exercising!!
