Just curious.

Yes as the dog still needs walking

PriamFarrl · 26/03/2023 16:43

Yes. I have a decent coat and a Tilleys hat.

MarshaBradyo · 26/03/2023 16:43

Sure, with an umbrella

Pinkflipflop85 · 26/03/2023 16:43

Yes because I'm not made of tissue paper.

YetiTeri · 26/03/2023 16:44

If I have to spend the rest of the day in wet clothes/shoes I'd try wait until it was a bit less wet. But if I'm going home after then yes absolutely. The only thing that should stop you is inappropriate clothing.

MrsSkylerWhite · 26/03/2023 16:44

Yes. Avoid strong winds though.

Pinkypurplecloud · 26/03/2023 16:44

Yes because my children not going to school because it is raining really wouldn’t fly.

If you mean do I deliberately set out to walk in the rain as some kind of experience, no. And definitely not British rain.

User0610134057 · 26/03/2023 16:44

Yes. Not for pleasure but when needed eg. School run, and when the Dcs were babies
have a seasalt coat that keeps me dry

TitInATrance · 26/03/2023 16:45

I did all the years I was working- after doing the same to get to school. Never occurred to me not to, umbrellas are great!

FlounderingFruitcake · 26/03/2023 16:45

I wouldn’t ‘go for a walk’ without purpose but if there’s somewhere to be then absolutely e.g. still walk the school and nursery run.

WhatNoRaisins · 26/03/2023 16:45

Only if I need to, not my idea of fun personally.

I've also never been convinced that taking the kids to the park in the rain wearing puddlesuits is fun.

SpinningFloppa · 26/03/2023 16:45

Yes I don’t drive so wouldn’t leave the house most of the year 🤣

Naimee87 · 26/03/2023 16:45

Of course! I 💜 the rain. So does the my dog luckily

SpinningFloppa · 26/03/2023 16:46

Oh and no I wouldn’t go for a walk in the rain with no purpose but I don’t go for walks anyway

RedRosie · 26/03/2023 16:47

I do. I love the rain. Weird.

Kathryn84 · 26/03/2023 16:47

Yes, with a coat and an umbrella. I wouldn’t ‘go for a long walk’ in pouring rain, waterproofs aren’t infallible and my glasses get misted.

MrsSkylerWhite · 26/03/2023 16:48

Our grandson loves it, the muddier the better 😁

QuertyGirl · 26/03/2023 16:48

Oh this is cheering me up. I'm not the only one!

NatMoz · 26/03/2023 16:49

Yes and i would also run in the rain. In fact, i ran in the rain yesterday!

Badbudgeter · 26/03/2023 16:49

I do as I have a dog. Luckily there's lots of woodland round here so I tend to head there. I love the smell of trees when it's raining.

Wrongsideofpennines · 26/03/2023 16:50

Only if I have to. I dislike having wet legs and feet. And finding wellies and waterproofs that fit well is just a nightmare.

Thisnamesbetter · 26/03/2023 16:52

My favourite walk is a walk in the rain, heavier the better. Wellies, coat and umbrella. It's the best. 🌂

The sound of the rain on the umbrella, the quietness around as everyone else is staying in, and sometimes lifting my face to the sky to feel the sensation is all so soothing. Steet lights and headlights also look so much nicer in the rain.

I'm lucky that I've managed to convince my husband of the same so often when it's heavy rain we'll head out together on a walk to nowhere. 😊

Me too- love running on snow too

It is actually enjoyable walking the dog as you can just get the wellies on, embrace it knowing you are coming back to a nice warm house/shower.

Not so nice if you end up in work feeling a bit damp all day!

DominoRules · 26/03/2023 16:53

Yes to walk the dog - he absolutely loves the rain so even if it’s pouring we’re out!
