What is being delivered to you today?

We're going away for Easter, so I've ordered a few things for the first time in ages, and I'm childlishly excited about today's deliveries:

New swimsuit for me - I've ordered 2 so that in theory the one that suits me less can go back, but realistically I know I'm hoping to keep them both. There was a 25% discount code, so really, I'm SAVING money. 😉

Beauty Pie order - mostly just a restock for me & dd1, but still fun.

A dress from the clearance sale on Joules, but that might not come til tomorrow. I haven't bought new clothes since September, so this is quite exciting even if it was only £23.

Trainers for dd1 from Ebay

GCSE language workbooks for dd1 (less thrilling, but quite a coup to find this specific book and have it delivered before her class today).

I much prefer this to actually going out shopping.

A washing machine, thank Christ.

We haven’t a clean tea towel in the place and I’m down to my last pair of socks.

TheRookie · 23/03/2023 09:04

A new raincoat which is handy as march has been a washout so far and I've been doing without because I couldn't find one I liked 😂

Idratherbepaddleboarding · 23/03/2023 09:06

A Hello Fresh box. We only get them when we have a discount so I’m looking forward to not having to think about what’s for teas for the next 5 days even though they’re not as good as they used to be.

Prescription meds for DH are all I'm expecting today.

Lilyofthevalley23 · 23/03/2023 09:10

Lots of steel and wood. I can't be precise as it would be outing but it is for a project.

IndiganDop · 23/03/2023 09:11

Walking boots as my previous pair are no longer waterproof. And, hopefully, some birthday presents I have ordered for ds. His birthday is looming and the gifts have not arrived!

SirVixofVixHall · 23/03/2023 09:11

Coffee beans from Footprints Coffee.
Some plants from Farmer Gracy.

Pasithean · 23/03/2023 09:12

Mascara primer
2 x kilo bags of mixed nuts and raisins
Soya milk
A new dinner service
Raw dog food
A new bathroom cabinet
2 ceramic plant pots
A pack of white washcloths
A new set of towels

The delivery person is going to love me 🤣

Tidsleytiddy · 23/03/2023 09:14

A dress from Silkfred. I love their clothes. They fit me 🤣

shakeitoffsis · 23/03/2023 09:14

An asos order got a few bits yesterday with there was 20% off including some new balance trainers I definitely did not 'need'. Had some birthday money at the weekend so treated myself.

My Humira injections. Oh the thrill of it all.

Actually the fun part is finding space for them in the salad drawer in the fridge, which far from being full of salad appears to be full of cheese and custard donuts. Rock and roll lifestyle.

@Passerillage I hope your swimsuits look good!

I love the idea that the PRECISE amount of steel and wood would be outing. 😁

I love pre-holiday ordering. It's one of the few delivery experiences I look forward to during the year.
Today, only Sainsbo's, unfortunately! Probably Amazon too because they deliver on completely the wrong day on every occasion post covid.

LubaLuca · 23/03/2023 09:17

Two saplings from the Woodland Trust.

Newjumper2023 · 23/03/2023 09:18

My tesco order with one substitute (stir fry veg instead of frozen peppers). Won't be keeping the stir fry veg. A little annoying as I'm sure they could have subbed some fresh peppers which I would have accepted. Difficult for me to get to the shops hence delivery so some meal plan rejigging may be needed, but will manage.

Tesco haven't had peppers (for me, anyway) in weeks.
