What is being delivered to you today?

We're going away for Easter, so I've ordered a few things for the first time in ages, and I'm childlishly excited about today's deliveries:

New swimsuit for me - I've ordered 2 so that in theory the one that suits me less can go back, but realistically I know I'm hoping to keep them both. There was a 25% discount code, so really, I'm SAVING money. 😉

Beauty Pie order - mostly just a restock for me & dd1, but still fun.

A dress from the clearance sale on Joules, but that might not come til tomorrow. I haven't bought new clothes since September, so this is quite exciting even if it was only £23.

Trainers for dd1 from Ebay

GCSE language workbooks for dd1 (less thrilling, but quite a coup to find this specific book and have it delivered before her class today).

I much prefer this to actually going out shopping.

Two saplings from the Woodland Trust.

Yep, ours are coming today too. Royal Mail, so think they might be diddly. 😁

How to kill your family by Bella Mackie.

Daughter is slightly concerned.

Fab book. My DD bought it for me. Should I be worried?

I have a two time zone clock turning up today.

legofrostqueen · 23/03/2023 09:20

Sale dress from Libby Loves - already delivered & it's a keeper 😀

Some vintage jeans for DS's birthday next week

A Body Edit box from Liberty - very excited about this!

All frivolous stuff...

My 12 year olds first ever phone!

My 12 year olds first ever phone!

Ohh! A seminal moment! Although our kids new phones are usually a matter of going to the drawer with the dead/broken iphones from 2006 in it and working out which one will cost the least to repair in the slightly dodgy shop around the corner.

Nothing for a change as I'm skint yet again. I've heard that my local Amazon/DPD/RM/Next have given themselves the day off to celebrate! 😀

SweetCoriander · 23/03/2023 09:29

Thank you, @Passerillage - liking the swimsuit. And yes the Humira (Adalimumab) injections are for psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis and they are very good. I'm part of a big trial to see how we all fare long-term.

When I'm having a massive flare-up I'm quite dependent on home deliveries of pretty much everything and I sympathise with @Newjumper2023 about it going wrong.

TomatoSandwiches · 23/03/2023 09:30

Ski kit, 2 linen dresses I'm trying out from Poetry and a prescription.

SybilWrites · 23/03/2023 09:31

I've got an amazon parcel arriving - so will be very excited to receive some brown tape and postage bags (for my vinted sales), my book club book and some cookbooks (I'm exploring a mediterranean diet). Plus a SATs test book for my dd.

SockGoddess · 23/03/2023 09:33

Blush TWO pairs of DMs and a mini power sander! I've actually been v. restrained since Christmas and not been buying clothes, except the odd cheap ebay find. But I got a work bonus and have been wanting some DM chelsea boots for ages, but couldn't decide which so ordered two different ones to try. Just have to make sure I return one (or both if necessary). The sander is to finally tackle the manky skirting boards in a fit of spring DIY feelings.

Zola1 · 23/03/2023 09:33

Hopefully a pair of Balenciaga tracks from Vinted 🤭 for my eldest

The over-consumption on this thread is quite something. Medicines, saplings, fair enough, but some of you should think before you click.

Why?

whataboutnow · 23/03/2023 09:39

First delivery since Xmas and it's an outfit for a funeral and some menopause support vitamins.

SpottyStripyDuvet · 23/03/2023 09:41

Some caterpillars for DS's butterfly growing kit.

Some hoodies DH ordered.

I feel left out now!

I do agree with this and I do try to not buy stuff just for the sake of it, and choose quality stuff that will last. And usually my deliveries are more in the vein of cat litter and work stuff. However, I have waited, considered and pondered and now I am excited about my DMs.

SirVixofVixHall · 23/03/2023 09:11

Coffee beans from Footprints Coffee.
Some plants from Farmer Gracy.

Off to Google foot print coffee as sounds like something I ought to know about

Yiayoula · 23/03/2023 09:43

Cystitis meds for our cat - not exciting, but necessary !
NEOM pillow mist - equally necessary, to me at least .

SNWannabe · 23/03/2023 09:46

Two Marcus Rashford books- one for DSS friends birthday and one for DS for Easter. A cuddly toy off eBay that I’m hoping can be a spare for the favourite toy of my grandchild- as dd is scared he loses it.

PurplePansy05 · 23/03/2023 09:47

You're my tribe 😅

I had 10+ parcels delivered from online only retailers with clothes for DS and I for holiday - will keep some, others will need to be returned.

Today is less exciting, expecting cat litter and a load of bits and pieces & bedtime books for DS from Amazon 😊

What is life without online shopping! I buy 99% online!

CaptainMyCaptain · 23/03/2023 09:47

A pilates block.

OldTinHat · 23/03/2023 09:48

Turtle food.

I'm hoping my perfume order from the Boots sale arrives too, but probably not as I only ordered it yesterday!

BellatrixLestrangesHeatedCurlers · 23/03/2023 09:48

Five dresses from various places and some new tights. I haven't bought any new clothes since last summer and got these all on sale (apart from the tights, which are plain old sturdy full-price M&S ones).

Enko · 23/03/2023 09:49

An Ottoman. ... its for the dog to not hurt his back when he jumps up..... yes I'm aware that's err...

I've paid for moving boxes to be delivered to dd2 does that count?

Fridaysgirl17 · 23/03/2023 09:49

My food shop & my son's toucan box I am waiting on an order for me nothing too exciting but a new phone case,a jumper & top 😀.
