I was a bit disappointed to see it was Rivals, not Riders, although with the horses and hunting scenes it would be harder to film.

RCB was Jude Law. He's too old now obviously but he is basically the character.

@Kefir - they did Riders before and it was dire - they used slo-mo for the show jumping scenes where it was painfully obvious that they were only jumping 3ft fences rather than Olympic sized ones. And the casting was way off except for Billy (I still have a small crush on Anthony Calf who played him) and Jake (Michael Praed).

They also did 'The Man Who Made Husbands Jealous' and that was equally shite, mainly due to them making Lysander a pro tennis player and Kitty already slim and not remotely plain and not involving any horses at all!

Of course they did! I had mercifully forgotten.

It looks as though they've spent a bit of cash on this and the actors are pretty decent so fingers crossed

I actually feel like he might be okay for this. He’s not by-the-book physically exactly RCB but I feel like the haughty looks and attitude could be spot on.

That's a terrible photo of him. I fancied him back in the day. Surely he was better looking than that 😄😄

I think his character and attitude is the key to RCB, rather than necessarily his looks. If they don't make him blond though it'll be a bit odd. I'm not sure about the chap they've cast but keeping an open mind!

Danny Dyer cropping up made me laugh.. I actually think he’ll work quite well.
