So excited although my RCB casting would always be Alexander Skarsgård and Taggie in my mind was Liv Tyler (although probably a bit old for young Taggie now). Cannot wait for this. Rivals is my fave JC book.

Alexander Skarsgard would have been much better. He was perfect as Eric in True Blood and the characters were similar.

i think everyone has a very clear and firm picture of how the characters look so it’ll be a tall order to please us all

Also, although David Tennant will probably make a great simmering baddie, he's not short and chunky with "no neck" like Tony B, is he?!

I think the casting is great. I wouldn’t have picked David Tennant as Tony Baddingham but he’s brilliant in everything so it’s given me confidence that this might actually be pretty good.
