How old is your child and what time do they get up?

What time do your DC get up on a weekend if left to their own devices, & how old are they?

DC is 4 and gets up around 6

DD will be 3 this week and gets up sometime between 6 and 7 usually. DD2 is 6 months so more unpredictable, could be 5 or could be half 8 😂

Ds1 (11) gets up anywhere between 5-6am. He takes himself downstairs to watch tv

ds2 (4) wakes up between 5:30-7 … he plays on his rooms until DH or I get up

DD usually awake by 6:30/7 plays on her rook
until it’s time to go downstairs

DD is 14 and gets up for school around 6.45, weekends between 9.30 & 10.30

Ds is 4.5 and goes to bed at 730pm and awake between 530-6 without fail.

I know! Im looking forward to the teenage years where he doesn’t get up until late morning. He’s always been
an Early riser 😭 not sure why my kids hate sleep so much … I personally love it!

Almost 3 and wakes around 4am most days and needs turning, once I turn them and put some music on they are usually happy to stay there until around 6am.

2&5 yr old
2yr old- 7am
5 yr old -6.30am- tried to move bed time back to 7.30pm to get a 7am wake up but it was a disaster

10 year old DS almost 11 gets up between 6 and 7 every morning, he can't sleep in but me and DH are early risers too

DD3 was up at 4.45 this morning. DH is away and she didn’t get the ‘Mother’s Day means a lie in’ memo.

5.30 is more usual.

DD 13, awake at 7, up at 8.
DD 10, we wake her about 1030....

16 year old. Half six for college, about 8 at the weekend as I cook breakfast, about 9 on his weekday off. He has never woken for the day earlier than me.

13yo is up at sevenish on school mornings. She finally awakened at 10.45 this morning.

stepsons are late teens and lay in bed till 1pm given the chance 😂 but they are good polite boys.

All 3 DCs wake sometime between 6 and 7 usually (occasionally earlier and occasionally later). Ages are 4.5, 2.5 and 4 months

DD just turned 2 and wakes between 6-6:30am

She also wakes at least once a night, usually twice and sometimes wakes five times.

DS1 (10.5) 5:30-6:00, allowed downstairs from 7:00.

DS2 (7) frequently wakes when DS1 goes downstairs, otherwise 7:30-8:00.

Nobody is left to their own devices as that would probably mean screen time in the morning which is a big no no in my house.

DS 4 - 7am
DS almost 2 between 7&7:30am.

DS9 goes to sleep about 9.15 and is up between 6 and 6.30 . He had a new mattress last week and slept in til 7.15 turned out that was a complete one off thou

Dh and I both occasionally work on Saturdays. I've got back home at 1.30pm before now to both ds's 12 &16 sound asleep 🙈 both up late gaming the night before 🙄

At the weekend:

DD1 (15) - probably 11/11:30
DS (11) - about 8
DD2 (6) - 7/7:30

Can't complain. It's certainly a far cry from the tough baby and toddler years where they sometimes got up at 5am. 😬

Depends, school day 8am and weekend anytime between 9-10am (dc11).

DC 18 & DC17. If they're not working at the weekend (or on teacher strike days!) they wake up around 12pm, sometimes as late as 1.

DC4 wakes up between 6.30am & 7.30am but doesn't fall asleep until around 8.30pm.

Keep reminding myself they grow up so quickly & soon DC4 will be like his siblings & I'll have to fight to get him up of a morning!!
