Boyfriend over 4 hours with ex for mothers day

I'm seeing a guy who has been separated from his ex for 7 months.

We weren't involved when they were together.

He's taken her and their adult children for mothers day lunch. I didn't ask how long they'd be but He's not messaged or been online for over 4 hours.

The plan was for us to do something together this afternoon but there was no time agreed.

I guess I'm feeling a little forgotten about and I'm not sure why he had to go to the lunch (He's not seen his own mum today).

Is he being reasonable here? How long would a lunch take?

Haven't blocked or deleted him...changing his name to something specifically rude about his looks and personality was much more satisfying

I like your style! God, you're going to have so much more headspace now you're not having to listen to him chuntering on about his pension and divorce and comforting his poor little feelings. What was the age gap btw?

The age gap was 13 years. It didn't feel huge really.

The worst was seeing him learn basic life skills...like contacting energy suppliers, cooking, having ANYTHING in his house ever (toilet roll, foil, a tin opener, basically anything) and wanting congratulating for doing anything that most adults do! His wife really did everything. And he paid for everything. Total split He also was amazed that his daughter didn't need her (very long) hair cut every six weeks like he did but that when she did it did not cost £12.

Never cut time short with your mum in order to hang around waiting for a prick.
