One small packet and 4 elastic bands... 😂

He must've known I needed them...

A catalogue from BAM, with a free pair of socks.

Bluevelvetsofa · 18/03/2023 16:07

What I haven’t got, unfortunately, is the package I ordered on 2nd March.

mondaytosunday · 18/03/2023 16:28

Nothing. Posties are a very rare breed round here (SW London).

Quisto · 18/03/2023 16:32

She had a really good go at stuffing a parcel through that was too big. I opened the door and pulled it back out again. She didn't ring the bell because " the house was in darkness" , on a sunny day at lunchtime. A different postie broke the spring on our letterbox trying the same thing.

JeannieAlogy · 18/03/2023 16:35

Still waiting for the postie to deliver the wedding invitation posted to me* in October for a wedding in April.

*I know it was posted as the first I knew of it was a chaser from the Bride-to-be's mother.

AndrexPuppy · 18/03/2023 16:38

They usually leave the elastic bands on my drive.

Just a letter from my pensions provider today. Nothing exciting.

NancyPickford · 18/03/2023 16:39

A seed catalogue, a box of assorted potions and lotions from Boots, and a clip-in fringe. Actually he didn't put them through letter box, he opened the door and put them on the floor of the hall. But we live rurally and this is common. He drives a wee red van just like Postman Pat.

Giggorata · 18/03/2023 16:43

Something about pensions
A bloody handprint window sticker
a postcard from lucky friends on holiday somewhere warm

CaptainMyCaptain · 18/03/2023 16:48

Nothing. I'm waiting for a delivery of printer ink so I can print a label and return something to Amazon.

handsoffate · 18/03/2023 16:49

A reminder for house insurance, already paid
A gardening supplier catalogue

Ours drops the elastic bands onto our drive. We had three last week.

CahierNumberSixPlease · 18/03/2023 16:50

My Mothers Day gift and card from DD and this years Council Tax Bill.

Fckingfuming · 18/03/2023 16:51

A single white envelope with a name and address which is nothing like our number or road, correct village though. I'll post it to them when I go out tomorrow.

Afonavon · 18/03/2023 16:52

A Wool Room catalogue tempting me to part with my money.

LadyIckenham · 18/03/2023 16:53

I also got free Bam socks.

And they always work because I then feel obliged to buy something. I am the ad man's dream.

Wouldn't mind but oldest DD has taken them.

Eminybob · 18/03/2023 16:55

The Beano. Literally the highlight of Ds1's week.

Currently waiting on a delivery of some Frozen themed peel off nail varnish for ds2 as he is obsessed with painting his fingernails with felt tip pens so I'm hoping this will avoid trail of pen marks around the house.

silverycurtains · 18/03/2023 16:56

A letter from Sky saying the broadband price is going up and oh, a flyer from the Conservatives saying I 'can trust them'. Ok then.

IaltagDhubh · 18/03/2023 16:59

My lovely dormouse necklace that I bought as a birthday present to myself. And the yodel delivery bloke brought me two pairs of jeans from Vinted.

moggiek · 18/03/2023 17:02

Another one in receipt of BAM socks and catalogue.

daffodilandtulip · 18/03/2023 17:03

All you lucky people. I thought posties were extinct! Especially on a Saturday!

Lolreally · 18/03/2023 17:04

A reminder from nhs thatbI haven't sent them my poo to test for bowel cancer 💩

Nudity · 18/03/2023 17:07

I hate when they post rubber bands. My cat would swallow them if he got a chance.

Trumpton · 18/03/2023 17:10

Nuthin’
We don’t get post on a Saturday.

weebarra · 18/03/2023 17:11

A Beano, an appointment letter for the breast clinic (cancer long term follow up) and a t shirt I ordered yesterday.

disappear · 18/03/2023 17:12

A thank you card from my employer, with a small kitkat.

Pinkflipflop85 · 18/03/2023 17:13

DH is a postie. Those bastard elastic bands breed exponentially in our house.
