I signed up for one free pair of socks from them about 4 years ago and they send me at least 4 pairs a year…I feel like Harry Potter and his letter from Hogwarts…I think I got 8 last year. Is this your first pair or do you also receive umpteen pairs a year!?

If you see these rogue elastic bands on the ground, please do pick them up - they are a danger to pets and wildlife. I had to wrestle one out of my cat's throat once, as he was choking on it.

Nothing, and if we did receive anything it would probably be for the previous owners. They still seem to be getting more post than us despite moving out over 6 months ago!

We also got the Wool Room catalogue today. BAM sent me a free pair of socks a few years ago and I’ve since bought 10-15 pairs plus boxer shorts for DH. Their marketing works!

My DDs hobby used to be collecting the elastic bands the posties dropped and we’d literally have to go out walking to see how many she could find.

I rarely see them on the ground anymore so I don’t know if the new postie is more careful or I’m just not looking out for them like I used to.

An unexpected parcel from DD for Mother’s Day. I don’t want or expect anything other than a card or a phone call/FaceTime so it’s lovely for her to have bought a gift.

I e had a couple of pairs of BAM socks in the past, but not for ages, so it seemed a bit random. I was looking for something in their sale a while ago, so perhaps that’s why. They didn’t have what I wanted in the right size and their stuff is too expensive unless it’s sale price, so I didn’t get anything.
