I just love receiving small packages through the post to take forever removing the elastic bands first before even getting to open my parcel! 🤣

No BAM socks here either - what even are they?

My SIL gets free BAM socks all the time. She didn’t ask for them. She gave me a few and DD nicked them. They looked lush.

I signed up to their marketing in the hope of free socks…nothing. I want them to much.

No postie here today. We had an amazing postie. A real community hero. He’d been doing the round for ever. Checked in on the oldies and was generally worshiped. Now we have a fairly miserable postie who plays hide and seek with the post.

You're getting a special service, my postie just throws the elastic bands on my drive (on the rare occasions he actually delivers to our street).

Nothing. Very rare that they bother to deliver these days.I’ve complained more than once. Deliveries often have 15 - 20 items. Used to have a great postie, but they moved him to another round and his replacement is on long term sick leave. The cover guys tell me they can only deliver if there are also parcels. South London.

Normally I'd find elastics all over my driveway but lately still attached to my parcels. Sure saves me picking them all up on a wet & windy day! 🤣

I've been collecting abandoned elastics at the pigeon hole in work, it's been 4 years and it's known that I collect them so people leave them there for me. Now I have a bouncy ball the size of a large grapefruit 😁😁😁

Royal Mail delivered the Christmas present I ordered in November and cancelled in January as it was still a no show. And for which I have long since received a refund.

I got a box of goose eggs (for hatching), a new bank card for my son and a few bills. Plus a letter from my electricity supplier complaining that I haven't been topping my meter up very often (this is true, because of the vouchers).

Post men/women use them to keep bundles of post together and organised in their bags. For some reason they always seem to unbundle the piles on my drive and fail to pocket the bands.

I’ve never had the bloody socks either.
