These are my two. I think spenny just takes the edge for me. I've heard it so many times, just today!

Fully expecting to be told I need new things to be irritated by etc, but this is only supposed to be lighthearted.

What are yours?

My daughters boyfriend said he didn't like Christmas as "bare people come round". I said what? As in naked? Or dressed as bears? No, it means "lots of" apparently 🙄

People I work with call Wakefield Wakey.

I've never heard any of those, thankfully.

At least i now know if i ever do hear them.

I'm the queen of abbreviations. My kids almost died (and constantly remind me of the sheer embarrassment) when I ordered 'spag bol' in a cafe. I didn't think it was so bad.

I use spenny (and cozzie livs, and holibobs, and various others along the same lines) but ONLY when talking to my sister in order to irritate her (she also does this to me).

I shall add 'bargs' to my repertoire and follow this thread... for 'inspo' 😝
