I’m having foil baked salmon with rosemary, DH foil baked boneless chicken thighs with oregano then we’re both having mini jacket potatoes with garlic & something I can’t remember plus fine beans. The spuds are from Lidl & can be fried.

We're having pasta with chicken and green beans in a pesto cream sauce.

I don't know....I'm on leave so actually have time to cook....but lack the energy and the motivation to do so.
Luckily my son is a trainee chef so might be able to,persuade him to,practise a dish 😂

Spag bol, defrosting in the fridge. It’s swimming lesson night so it needs to be something quick.

Got2besoon · 02/03/2023 12:06

These sound quite high brow so far!

I'm doing chicken nuggets, a mix of potato and sweet potato mash, brocoli, and corn on the cob. Something the 3 year old should eat!

Eranzer · 02/03/2023 12:09

Steak, macaroni cheese, some sort of veg.

frustratednomad · 02/03/2023 12:12

Steak, chips, tomatoes and mushrooms, was going to have spag bol but dentist first thing tomorrow morning and didn't want to breathe garlic on him.

Hoolahoophop · 02/03/2023 12:15

Fish finger wraps for the kids, m&s stir-fry kit for the adults.

Well that's handy just sit back and relax let him crack on 😄

I have defrosted mince and that's how far I've got maybe cottage pie.!

JudgementalCentipede · 02/03/2023 12:27

I'm going to do myself a sort of ploughman's - baguette, stilton, ham, pickled onions, gherkins, apples, grapes, pork pie, maybe a handful of crisps. I'm really looking forward to it 🤣

WaggyTailsWetNoses · 02/03/2023 12:30

Vegetable chilli here. DD14 declared the school's veggie chilli to be delicious, so I'm chancing it! With rice, guacomole, tortillas etc. DS won't eat it, so he'll have beans on toast or something.

Sharkpenis · 02/03/2023 12:39

Good question. Maybe steak and little herby potatoes

OldTinHat · 02/03/2023 12:42

I'm a disgusting pig and bought a chow mein and crispy chicken from the Chinese last night. I had it last night, just had more for lunch and will finish it off for tea this evening 👌

clearsommespace · 02/03/2023 12:49

Home made minestrone. Made a big pot of it yesterday. I will be quite happy to eat it every day until it is gone.

@murasaki can you link to the lasagna recipe please

jay55 · 02/03/2023 13:12

Baked potato with cheese and coleslaw.

TheRookie · 02/03/2023 13:24

So many people having steak! On a Thursday 😂 shock horror!

I'm making some kind of fish taco bowl thingy with guacamole and spicy salsa. Kids will have fish fingers tacos I think!

You ate food, it's kind of essential. Eating doesn't make you a disgusting pig. Please don't make that association. It's toxic. If you say that about yourself people will assume you make such judgements about them too, or that they too are a disgusting pig, just because they ate. What may seem a throw away comment can in fact be hugely damaging, particularly if over heard by children.

AtleastitsnotMonday · 02/03/2023 13:35

I've had to rethink after half the veg I had planned to use are unavailable. So it's chicken leek and bacon bake with green beans and broccoli.
