What’s For Tea?

I really can’t wait for ours tonight - toad in the hole with double cream mash, broccoli, cauliflower cheese ( just for me) & the most yummy sounding onion & red wine gravy.

Love the variety here! We have just had mushroom pierogies, caramelised onions and sauerkraut with sour cream. Biscuits for pudding!

Halibut with white wine cream sauce, chips and veg.

First meal is Breakfast which I don't eat because I do fast till noon.

I call midday meal lunch but if someone asked what I was having for dinner at midday I think midday meal too.

Last meal I call dinner or tea.

Are there really any adults out there that don't know tea sometimes mean the last meal to some people who live midlands/north?

I had a pub roast at 4pm.

In Yorkshire we don't call it a packed lunch, we call it pack up.

Roast beef, horseradish sauce. Truffle gravy, roast potatoes. Cauliflower cheese, Yorkshires and carrots. Cream cake for pud. 😍

Tea is the evening meal round our parts. Dinner is the midday meal.

@ladymacbeth I felt a day out too but DH was driving all yesterday and I can't do delicious roast beef like he can so we've saved it for tonight 😂
