Location yes. Land yes. But is it really worth the millions of pounds to buy?

Would anyone here buy it? Just help me out here

Getting planning permission in the National Park is a nightmare- we live here and have experience 😤

It’s a catch 22 isn’t it, it’s a nightmare to obtain, but it’s also why it’s so desirable, because it is so beautiful

The cheaper one is right on a busy road which is reflected in the price. It is gorgeous inside though.

2 miles away another six-bed house for sale but £800,000 cheaper

That one's been on the market on and off for a very long time!

The cheaper one also has a tiny kitchen. What is it with new forest 6 bed properties and no kitchen?

I would love the location and land, always dreamed of having a smallholding. Could buy a lot of eggs and carrots for the 5 million ish needed though! I think I would have to keep at least a wall to class it as the original house so I could have log burners. They seem to be being banned on new builds now. Wonder if we will see this on grand designs in a few years. Sadly my house would only be worth a tenth of the money needed for the headline price, let alone refurb and stamp duty costs.
