It is beautiful being a mum, I have a two-year-old son that just makes me live for every day that comes. I am 36 years old and soon to be 37, a first-time mum, and new to everything, my friends have children and asked me if I would have any more??? I said no! Why?? because it is a rise in of cost living and I can just get by now as you can imagine. So my partner's sister-in-law has 5 children 3 from previous partners and 2 from a current partner who is my partner's older brother now they have been trying for a baby to find she is finally pregnant ok congratulations but this a mother that has never done a days job in her life and the baby dad is 41 and can't hold a job down and forever asking to borrow money and don't pay back and the pair of them keyboard warriors their home is just a mess and smells of wee... why bring a baby into the world if you can't afford to live yourself then how you going survive with a newborn, especially in this day and age

Why do we need to realise what your SIL is doing?

WandaWonder · 08/02/2023 09:51

MeMyCatsAndMyBooks · 08/02/2023 09:55

I'm confused your sister in law has given birth to your partners younger brother? Whaaaaat? 😂

That said - don't lend them money, the reason they continue their lifestyle is because people will bail them out so stop

frozendaisy · 08/02/2023 09:56

So children should be just for the wealthy enough? Should there be a test to prove you are capable to raising a child to what standards?

People should realise what exactly?

I mean are only children the most balanced? Should people give children a sibling so when the parents die they have someone by their side?

We can all make sweeping judgements OP about other people's choices. It's just not very kind or helpful is it.

WaddleAway · 08/02/2023 09:56

Eh?

AnyFucker · 08/02/2023 09:56

You go, sister 🤩

Have you lost your full stop?

Passthechocolatesplease · 08/02/2023 10:24

I agree OP, if you can’t afford to support your ownfamily by contributing to society by earning a living and not living on handouts paid for by hardworking taxpayers you shouldn’t be bringing another child into this world that you clearly cannot afford to keep.
It’s not rocket science is it!
Money does not drop out of the sky into the laps of those who choose not to work.
