What basic simple thing are you sh*t at?

I can’t cook rice. If you want rice you can cook it yourself. And I can pull together a roast from scratch and every meal in between without much thought, but for some reason, unless it’s in a microwave bag, I can’t cook rice.

I can’t cook poached eggs either but I feel I’m not alone there.

Omg to the pp about judging volume - I can't either

There's me, DP and DS1 - I will cook the whole bag of potatoes. All of the spaghetti. A full bag of pasta etc.
Then it comes to serving the dinner ... pahaha expect a mountain

I'm the same with escalators. As soon as I start thinking about how high it is, how bad it'd be to fall, my body tenses, I'm gripping the hand rail, my feet feel as if they're inching off the step, I bend my knees into a bit of a crouch to get steady, occasionally having to count to distract myself....I must look like a total maniac. I promise I'm honestly normal.

I have the worst sense of direction in the world. It really is shocking. I frequently find myself lost and bless the day google maps.was invented. My husband thinks it's a spacial awareness thing but I'm brilliant at parking so that can't be right.

No I have the worst in the world! It’s atrocious. Either driving or walking. It’s ridiculous.
