Starbucks or Costa?

Which do you prefer?

I like Costa's coffee but Starbucks for food!!

Locally, Costa because it has a much nicer layout.

Starbucks, but I think Costa’s does better cake.

Costa, my local Starbucks always feels cold they seem to have air con on all the time even in winter

I prefer Starbucks as I like their flavoured coffees more. I'm not a huge fan of either for black coffee. And I haven't forgiven Costa for removing their Emmental and mushroom toastie which was by far the best lunchtime offering of any of the high street coffee chains.

Starbucks. Better almond milk.

Costa’s tiffin is unbeatable hence I’m sat waiting about half an hour for my bloody coffee and tiffin and I can see my toastie behind the counter going cold!! (3 staff in a hospital costa)

Costa coffee tastes like dishwater and the cakes look stale. Starbucks coffee way better and cakes look fresher.

Nero wins, hands down, on coffee and food.

Starbucks. Except the one in my local town which just can't do coffee

Whilst they sell the best chai tea latte. Ever. Has to be Starbucks.

Starbucks by a million miles.

Costa food and drinks both make me feel queasy within minutes.

Costa. But if I just want a coffee, Maccies every time.

Costa. Coffee tastes amazing and gives me a long lasting energy throughout the day.
Starbucks just makes me crash.

Starbucks. I used to prefer Costa, as their coffee was hotter, but they've gone downhill and Starbucks coffee has been lovely and hot the last few times I was in. The atmosphere is also better In Starbucks. Costa always seems a bit cold and unwelcoming.

Starbucks is for people who don't like coffee. It's all flavoured syrups and overpriced iced drinks for teenagers. Once I started drinking coffee regularly I went right off it. My teen daughter and her mates adore it.

Starbucks. I'm very rarely made a decent coffee at Costa whereas Starbucks is perfect every time.

Neros, sorry! Our local one is just lovely, great atmosphere and really chill.

But, Costa for their mac n cheese.

Costa, if there’s no independent choice. Starbucks tastes weird and their cakes are dry. Costa’s chocolate tiffin is lovely!

Neither but then I don't drink coffee. Probably not helpful 😂. I refuse to go into a Starbucks though. When a government finally changes the law and they start paying proper amounts of uK tax I might consider it.

I like the food in Starbucks but cannot stand the coffee in both of them, it always tastes weak or burnt.

If I had to chose a chain it would probably be coffee#1.
