How many grandkids do your parents have?

Mine have no biological grandkids and one step granddaughter.

I know somebody the same age as my mum (early 60s) with 22 grandkids from her 5 children and 5 great-grandkids!

MIL has 8. Inc 2 that are technically step-grandchildren (my girls) but she’d raise an eyebrow at me for making it seem different.

DH’s Gran is still alive. She had 14 children. She has recently had her first great-great grandchild (she’s been desperately hanging on since that pregnancy was announced - she’s very very frail now). I wouldn’t even know where to start counting the grandkids as all of her kids had at least 2. One had 7!
the age range is huge though so even after nigh on 20 years with DH I still struggle working out the cousins from the cousins children!

My parents had 6 grandchildren and then my brother married someone with 4 children. Overnight, they had 10 and embraced that completely. My dad is a brilliant Grandpa to all of them and would love some great grandchildren ❤️

One of my parents has 6 grandkids plus two step-grandkids. My other parent has 6 grandkids and 7 step-grandkids!

7, my parents are late 60's

6 aged 10-16 from 3 of us

Both sides only have one, my DS. DH and I will hopefully have one more. DBIL is only 26 so he'll probably have children at some point but not yet. My DB is fairly unlikely to have children so my parents will probably only have two in total.

All currently mid 60s.

0 so far but hoping in the next 10 years or so they’ll have 2/3 from me (I’m 24 and been with partner for 5 years). They’re 66 and 75

3 all mine & DM would love more but 4 siblings unlikely to have any now

my mother has 4 kids. My dad has 6.

My parents just have 1, DS

I was one of 18 grandkids though.

My father had 2 children and has 5 grandchildren.

His parents had 2 children, 5 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

My mother's parents had 2 children, 2 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

But my husband and I are hoping to increase some of those numbers 😁

DM is 44 (young teen mum) has 2.

MIL 60 has 6.

8 plus 1 great grandchild

DM has 2, both mine (only child).

PIL have 4, two from each of their children.

Five, which she didn't expect as I'm an only (not by her choice) and so she is absolutely thrilled with her gang of grandkids.

Inlaws had 8 4 ours 2 from bil and 2 from sil. One bil died before having children. Mil used to say we had the two he would have had so she got her 8 grandchildren. (Sounds odd written down it was a nice idea)

No clue how the 5 ended up formatting like that.

My Mum is 91 and has 8 grandchildren and six great grandchildren. The number of great grandchildren is likely to rise, but probably not for a few years....her youngest grandson is only 11!

My parents gave 3 grandkids, 2 from me and one from my sister.

My in-laws have 9 grandkids and 7 great grandkids.

My parents only have one gc, my DS.

But I was one of 13 grandchildren on my mum's side, and one of 17 grandchildren on my dad's side of the family. Lots of cousins!
